True Blue Mediterranean Café brings fresh Mediterranean food to a pair of Lehigh Valley locations—one in Bethlehem set amongst historic buildings, and another in Emmaus with a seasonal outdoor patio. At both, diners can fuel up with protein-packed bites of lamb kabob, or a steak gyro loaded with marinated hunks of steak and Mediterranean pickles. They can also crunch into meat-free dishes, such as the vegetarian sampler, which features hummus, babaganoush, and grape leaves served alongside warm pita bread.
Creamery on Main's troop of gregarious servers dishes out treats for all times of the day, including bagels, sandwiches, and ice cream. Morning munchers can replace their flasks of ground corn flakes with a cereal bar ($2), while lunchtime and dinnertime eaters can wrap mitts around a pulled-turkey, pulled-pork, or hamburger sandwich ($5). Fill upside-down wizard hats with up to four scoops of ice cream ($4.25) before strewing them with various toppings, such as M&M's, peanuts, and Oreo crumbles ($0.50 each for all toppings). Mountain-climbing cherries scale the whipped-cream peaks of ice-cream sundaes ($3.75–$4.50), and patrons can slurp up milk shakes that are blended as liquid likenesses of their favorite ice-cream flavor ($3.50–$4.50). Inside Creamery on Main, inviting pink tones swaddle diners, and full-grown and pintsize tables provide seating for all ages of dairy devotees. Black-and-white snapshots hung up on walls capture moments, including kids happily soothing their throats after getting a tonsillectomy or swallowing a pinecone.
Owner Kim Brittenburg custom-designs her cupcakes and cakes based on each client’s individual preferences, and is capable of bringing even wild Walter Cronkite–themed dessert dreams to life. Choose from cake flavors including carrot cake, red velvet, oreo cookie, cranberry, lemon poppy, german chocolate, and pistachio, or request an option you don’t see listed. Kim's delectable cupcakes are usually accompanied with themed wrappers. All desserts are baked the night before pickup and are never frozen, unlike cakes ordered from bakeries located inside of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude. If you’re trying to reduce your fat intake, Kim's cakes use apple sauce instead of oil, making them more moist and healthy, though equally full of love. Click here for menu items and pricing.
