Berg’s has furnished children’s spaces for nearly a century with an array of beds, bedding, and carriers. Deck your child’s fantasy room with a wooden crib in chestnut, sienna, and antique black, a blue and red bed-turned-castle and slide, or a pink-curtained daybed. Securely bundle up little ones or precious canned foods in the Babybjörn original baby carrier ($79.95) and booster seat ($29.95), or educate young royalty with the Babybjörn potty chair ($22.95). Whether crafting a homespun habitat or a pastel-themed underground laboratory, Berg’s helpful employees help parents find baby and teen furniture to satisfy decorating desires.
When Seymour and Esther Fischgrund founded Fish Furniture in 1925, the couple personally stained, painted, and housebroke each piece before sending it home with a customer. Today, Fish Furniture operates a bit more efficiently, but with the same attention to detail and quality. In the eight-plus decades since opening, the business has grown from 2 employees to 70. It features a pair of 40,000-square-foot show rooms, inside of which sit upholstery, bedroom sets, and office trimmings bearing solid-wood construction and the names of well-known manufacturers. Outside the show rooms, Fish's staff travels to homes to provide interior-design advice, and its courtesy touchups mend scuffs and scrapes in a more fashionable manner than haphazardly placed band-aids.

And to complement the larger pieces, upscale accessories like murals and candle holders can imbue walls with renewed confidence after criticism from catty magic mirrors.
Sheraton Furniture owners Larry and Lori Weisman are carrying on the tradition established by Larry's grandparents, who opened the store in 1961. With guidance from a team of passionate interior consultants, customers can carefully determine their furniture and flooring needs and receive expert advice about furniture placement, décor, and how to keep favorite easy chairs from following their owners to work. The store's four floors of housewares include name-brand items for every room and secret bat cave in the house, including dining and living-room sets and bedroom furniture. A selection of more than 3,000 special-order fabrics and leathers lets customers customize their purchases, while a loaner program provides temporary furniture until the plush new pieces arrive.
