Anything you might need between the front and back wheel can likely be found at Bob's Cycle Center. The shop carries bicycles for all terrains and riding styles, from road bikes to mountain bikes and cruisers from brands such as Trek, Marin, and Electra. They also carry a wide selection of parts?like brakes, handlebars, and chains?as well as tires, tubes, and wheels. And then there are the repair technicians: expert mechanics who can coax maximum performance out of your bike by giving it a tune-up or a heartfelt lecture on the importance of flossing between its spokes.
Bob's Cycle Center carries all of this for bikes, but they have riders covered too. Bike-owners can peruse a selection of outerwear, jerseys, shorts, and bib tights from Bontrager, as well as helmets, gloves, and shoes.
The instructors at WakeSUP arm guests with Surftech paddleboards and adjustable SUP paddles and lead expeditions across serene waterways including Folsom Lake, Nimbus Lake, and Lake Natoma. To help guests glide safely across water surfaces, they also hand out neoprene lifejackets from Ho Sports and O’Neill to keep paddlers from being lured beneath the surface by a sea monster’s siren song. All rental gear and boards—which range in size from 9.5 to 12 feet—will be transported to and from the waterway courtesy of WakeSUP.
A knowledgeable staff that includes tennis instructors and former touring pros helps customers navigate the aisles of racket-sports equipment inside the two locations of Courtside Tennis & Apparel. A demo program lends out rackets from brands such as Babolat and Wilson for patrons to try out on the court or at John McEnroe–themed parties, and same-day stringing services get gear serve-worthy in a hurry.

Clint Robinson's U.S. Air Force duty took him around the world, but it was his time in South Korea that made the biggest mark. There, he learned the art of tae kwon do—and the positive fitness and values associated with it. When he returned to the states and left the Air Force, it didn't take long for him to found his own martial-arts school. More than 40 years and 19 locations later, Robinson's Taekwondo continues to thrive on the same principles on which Clint founded his business: excellence, personal attention, and tradition. He now counts children's, adult, and family programs as part of his curriculum. With continued training, students of all ages not only hone their fitness, but also improve their mental sharpness, self-confidence, and discipline.
