CrossFit Merrifield strives to create a community of fitness enthusiasts who provide support and encouragement for every member of the group. Once newcomers have learned to safely perform the various exercises by attending introductory sessions, they are allowed to join the group workouts that meet throughout the week. There they can expect to swing kettlebells, dead lift weights, and sprint across the floor while an instructor monitors their form and technique, and even adjusts the exercise's intensity to suit any fitness level.

CrossFit isn't the only option offered at the studio though. The instructors also lead tough boot camps, which use high-intensity interval training to bolster strength and stamina. Additionally, the center's Power Yoga sessions offer a change of pace, helping students maintain the balance, flexibility, and telekinetic powers they need to continue attending more rigorous workouts.
