While learning their trade of choice, students can choose from room and board options that include private rooms, rustic cabins, and camping opportunities for those hoping to show their work to Bigfoot.
FastDog Motorsports' White Flag Package gives gearheads the chance to become a blurrily circling four-wheeled hero. Upon arriving at the Motordrome Speedway, you’ll start with a 45-minute course that covers the basics of the racecar, racing line, braking techniques, and race anatomy. After that, an experienced instructor will take you around in a speedway pace car, demonstrating how to expertly hug curves and possibly how to satisfyingly hug impassive baby-boomer fathers. Once you've absorbed the rules, you'll get to take the wheel and speed through ten Doppler-howling laps on the meticulously maintained half-mile track. Finally, you’ll switch seats one more time and feel the amped G-force settle you into your seat as your instructor takes you on an authentic two-lap qualifying run.
In 1976, educator, musician, and kinesiologist Robin Wes opened The Little Gym based on his new take on physical education. His curriculum emphasized motivating children to achieve instead of pressuring them to win. As a result, The Little Gym became a noncompetitive, positive, nurturing environment where young ones could develop physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Since then, Little Gyms have sprouted up across the country. Enter Kevin and Page Helmick. Kevin and Page's passion for working with children stirred the duo to open their own Little Gym locations in Liberty Township and Mason. Parents of two young boys, Kevin and Page captain a talented staff of childcare professionals and instructors that is as passionate about childhood development as they are. The programs and classes they teach aim to help kids develop skills such as rhythm and coordination, and kids camps during winter, spring, and summer breaks prevent children from creating finger paintings that express the existential ennui they feel when school is out of session. The gym's classes, camps, and childcare programs have earned this location the Best Children's Play award from Cincinnati Family Magazine.

The Pilates Body’s team of certified instructors empowers musculature with yoga and Pilates classes using machines and mats that stretch bods, decompress spines, and calm minds. Pilates mat classes chisel midsections with a 55-minute regimen of resistance workouts that force bodies to reckon with the indefatigable scourge of gravity while focusing on Pilates fundamentals such as mindful breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment, and awareness of the body’s desire for pineapple shaved ice. Beginners can attend open-level mat classes and ease into training methods that move at a pace as gentle as a young Bambi, and experienced practitioners challenge limbs in the more rigorous high-intensity Pilates mat class. Students stave off bodily boredom by mixing Pilates with the salubrious stretching of Vinyasa yoga classes or therapeutic hot-yoga classes, where instructors guide pupils through a series of asanas in sweat-breaking 95-degree heat, ideal for purging the body of toxins and the mind of John Mellencamp lyrics.
