Certified massage therapist Crystal Jennings helms Mellow Moods Therapeutic Massage, thoroughly yet tenderly traipsing her trained hands over musculature suffering from chronic pains and severe aches. During the one-hour fusion massage, Jennings pays special attention to the neck and shoulders, blending Swedish and deep-tissue modalities with passive stretching techniques to temper muscular tension, treat adhesive tissues, and diffuse active trigger-point pain and microscopic thermal detonators. As a heated massage table and warm-towel treatment mollify soul sacks, a calming soundscape aims to uproot anxiety from the mind—the one stressed-addled place Jennings isn't able to massage due to the skull's thickness and a lack of neurological training.
With a newly minted medical degree and ability to pronounce caduceus, a young Dr. Michael W. Gray charged headlong onto the osteopathic scene. After a stint as the chief resident at Midwestern University's Chicago Osteopathic Medical Center and a fellowship at Northwestern University, the already accomplished plastic surgeon packed up his snake and staff and headed for the Pleasant Peninsula. Today, when he's not discussing advancements in plastic surgery on ABC and NBC local news, he brings his years of experience to The Michigan Cosmetic Surgery Center and Skin Deep Spa where he and his staff perform a full line of surgical and nonsurgical medical procedures.
At Skin Deep Spa, Gray practices a less-aggressive approach to cosmetic procedures with noninvasive treatments in a space designed to put clients at ease. Zerona cold-laser systems and the pulsed energy of Venus Freeze gently smooth away cellulite, for example. The in-house Beauti Bar area, manned by licensed aestheticians, sells Skin Deep beauty products designed by Dr. Gray himself to augment the cosmetic treatments. The zen-garden-inspired décor infuses the spa with earth-toned tiles, leafy green plants, the sound of rippling water flowing over stones in fountains, and ornate wooden chests filled with meditating yogi masters.
At the Center For Medical Weight Loss, physician Gina Randhawa uses a program rooted in scientific principles to help patients achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Dr. Randhawa employs tools such as body-composition analysis to customize each treatment plan, enhancing the effects of a low-calorie diet with appetite suppressants and injections designed to boost energy and metabolism. Her medical expertise also allows her to identify barriers to weight-loss success, from medications taken for separate health conditions to walls built around gyms.
Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Michelle Hardaway and her staff customize each cosmetic procedure to the customer's needs, vein visibility, and Planeteer power. The non-invasive laser vein treatment eradicates spider veins using laser-transported micro-maids that dust away cobwebs and tidy up the epidermal underworld. Today's deal is only good for spider vein treatment, though Aesthetic Plastic Surgery also performs a full menu of surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures.

When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
I always liked to help people, so they can feel better. I realized that making them look great can be extremely beneficial for their over all happiness. Every time I see my patients happy and satisfied, I have an additional surge of energy to live and work.
Do you or your staff have any special certifications or degrees?
I have an MD from Kharkov Medical University in Ukraine, where I've worked as a general and trauma surgeon. I'm also a DO after graduating from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. My staff includes a certified medical assistant, aesthetician, and nutritionist.
What is one fun, unusual fact about your business?
We do "bloody" business. But it is not scary at all. Blood doesn't make vampires of patients. It just make them beautiful.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
I provide natural solutions for common problems, which include a lot of exciting things: pain and weight management, proper nutrition, etc.
The full power of aesthetic science casts a transformative spell on visitors to Pure Laser USA. Light-based treatments include laser hair removal, laser spider-vein removal, IPL acne clearing, and skin-rejuvenating photofacials. There's also Botox and injectable fillers to combat the appearance of aging without requiring patients to talk about how excited they are to start fourth grade. Body-sculpting treatments use vacuum technology to reduce cellulite, and waxing services can put a polishing touch on bodies after they've been shaped to perfection.
