At Hypnosis Delivers, certified hypnotist Mary Sammons helps people overcome their physical or emotional limitations with close to 30 years of experience in hypnosis, family-life education, and counseling. She uses a deeply relaxing process that allows clients to tap into their subconscious mind, addressing issues such as weight loss, addiction, or the inability to walk past a stop sign. Sammons is not only certified as a practitioner; she is also certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists to teach others how to perform hypnosis.
Captained by certified strength-and-conditioning specialist Jessica Foster, iPush Personal Training bases its boot-camp regimen on functional training, a method that disdains extremity-isolated drills and targets the entire body. After collectively waking the sun by pulling its blanket off, pupils of all fitness levels will motivate each other to hustle through maneuvers that crank up the body’s strength, flexibility, and stamina. Each session keeps muscles guessing with a different lineup of exercises such as stair climbing, Pilates, free weights, obstacle courses, and simulated bank heists. By the fifth class, sweat donors will notice better muscle tone and definition, tighter waistlines, rocket-powered metabolisms, and the ability to smell time.
Om Yoga Fenton's friendly studio environment invites students of all experience levels to sculpt lean, limber bodies during classes in nine different class styles. Slow Vinyasa-style flows introduce fledging flexers to the practice, with yogis connecting a series of empowering postures with carefully controlled transitional movements and deep breathing techniques. The Iyengar modality focuses on proper alignment and holding poses for longer periods of time to relieve the back, neck, and hips of aches caused by Saturday-night fevers, and can incorporate props to help practitioners with limited mobility. Seasoned yogis can hone advanced skills during restorative sessions that bolster strength with tricky inversions and wild sticky-mat-breaking techniques.
Monica Rynearson has always had a passion for wellness--she began her fitness career as a YMCA fitness instructor in college, and worked her way up to a career as an operating room technician and health care benefits manager. Because of her extensive health and fitness backgrounds, she was drawn to the alignment- and safety-focused STOTT Pilates method. At Fit4Movement, she teaches clients of all ages and abilities to embrace Pilates’ diverse workout regimen, which pumps up coordination and core strength through a unique blend of cardio, weight resistance, and stretching. Monica combines this body-sculpting Pilates method with other fitness regimens—such as the ballet-inspired Barre method—during her Pilates+Barre class.
Monica holds several certifications, including STOTT Pilates mat and reformer certifications, as well as those for the Barre method and Bohdi Ropes, a core-strengthening suspension system. Though she does not offer group classes in all of these methods, she currently gives one-on-one instruction during private reformer Pilates and Bohdi Ropes lessons.
