Although Tutor Doctor - Longmont recognizes that every student is different, the company begins each relationship the same way. First, an educational consultant gathers information from parents, educators, and students themselves to create full-fledged pictures of their learning styles, personalities, and academic goals. Then, the company uses that information to pair the student with one of more than 100 carefully screened tutors or subject specialists to aid with current class work; prep for the SAT, ACT, and other exams; or bolster a shaky understanding of fundamental concepts—all from the convenience of the student's home or favorite swing set. After each session, e-mailed progress reports keep parents on top of their youngster's learning curve. Staff also can accommodate autism and other special-needs students, or aid college and graduate students via adult education.
Spanish Easy & Fun Language School employs certified, trained instructors with at least five years of teaching experience to introduce students to the magic of other languages. Using a unique curriculum developed by the school, instructors use games, songs, and conversational exercises to instill fundamental fluency in languages such as Spanish, Italian, and French. Instructors lead private and group classes for all levels and carry out other services such as translation and interpretation.

What inspired you or the owner (if that’s not you) to start or run this business?
Jason Hurd learned to fly at the Erie airport when his parents ran the local flight school many years ago. He now operates the top notch maintenance shop and flight school that are Vector Air.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
The best reaction from an introductory flight was when a father bought his 16 year old daughter a surprise flight lesson. She was nervous but a great sport to go along with the lesson. Within 10 minutes she was having the time of her life. It was a magical flight for her and her father. The best long term reaction from and introductory flight was when a student passed his private pilot check ride. At the end of the practical test the pilot examiner told him that that was the best practical test performance he had seen in a long time.
