At Golden Park, bowling balls tumble down 32 slick lanes while optional bumpers steer them away from the gutter and automatic scoring tracks every strike and spare. Black lights and a disco atmosphere wash over the lanes during glo bowling, held Friday and Saturday nights until 1 a.m. The skating arena lets visitors relive the carefree days of the '70s, when kids gathered at the rink after school and congressional elections were decided by bouts of roller derby.

A snack bar and tiki lounge restore energy lost during heated games, and flat-screen TVs keep competitive juices flowing with sports broadcasts. Nearby, the game room shelters arcade machines, a foosball table, and four billiards tables that often host APA Pool League matches. Golden Park also boasts the Bowling Connection Pro Shop, which outfits players with new balls, shoes, and bags for forthcoming frames.

The Cazbah serves up traditional American and Asian-inspired small plates along with a carefully curated list of wines. Housed in a former feed-and-seed store, it features a chic industrial design with tin ceilings, exposed brick walls, and a rooftop bar that allows guests to enjoy dinner with a view. The Cazbah furnishes those dinners with a menu of between 30 and 35 rotating tapas, including grilled seafood, veggie dips, and comfort-food staples. The wine list is equally varied, making it easy to find pairings for all types of cuisine.

When discussing CT's Grillin & Chillin's atmosphere with reporters from Metromix, founder Mike Fletcher explained, "I didn't call it a sports bar on purpose." Mike wanted his eatery to be something more than just a sports bar— a place where his son could perform music, where his daughter could work during summer break, and where family and friends could gather over classic American dishes. So while the 12 televisions are often aglow with the latest sports games, on other nights, the bar hosts live music, karaoke, and trivia nights. Servers hoist plates of hearty sandwiches and spicy wings from the kitchen, while bartenders dole out mixed drinks and pour glasses from their selection of more than 25 draft brews.

Neon beer signs cast a nostalgic glow across the dark-red walls of the cavernous dining rooms, illuminating the large booths and wooden tables. A spacious area in the front of the venue is equipped with microphones and speakers, creating an ideal stage for open-mic nights or public declarations that calculus is boring, no matter what popular opinion says.

Rings of smoke float through the air, ascending from fine, hand-rolled cigars poised in the hands of Kalahari Cigar Bar & Lounge’s patrons. Three large flat-screen televisions light up as guests recline on leather couches or lean against the full bar stocked with domestic and imported brews. In addition to cigars, the lounge serves a menu of American food for lunch and dinner, featuring burgers and fries, salads, and chicken wings marinated in freedom. Regular DJ sets, karaoke sessions, live jazz, and open-mic sessions tickle the ears of bar-goers throughout the week.

During Shake, Rattle, & Roll!, professional Elvis impersonator Scot Bruce accurately depicts The King during his prime by belting out hits from the 1950s and 1960s in classic Presley attire. Known for his cameo in Faith Hill's "Let's Go to Vegas" music video, Bruce impresses audiences with an uncanny resemblance to Presley that encompasses the same pompadour, shared facial characteristics, and the ability to power a propeller-less helicopter by swiveling his hips. A four-piece band equipped with vintage instruments joins Bruce in successfully recreating Elvis's journey from his humble beginnings at Sun Records.
