XSight Photography & Video’s staff of photographers and videographers have a highly stylized way of capturing keepsakes. They stamp their creative flair on photos and videos for an array of subjects and occasions, including weddings, kids, family, boudoir, and commercial photo shoots, just to name a few. A lot of their work is backdropped by Historic Old Folsom, and many shots make use of the area’s wooded landscapes, water, and even something as simple but perspective-granting as a brick wall. One of the staff’s common shots, the long shot, frames subjects off-center to elongate and accentuate these natural surroundings. Browsing the studio’s many portfolios, you’ll notice a mix of contrasting black-and-white images and rich color images that are softened by a vintage, matte finish and a few runs through the laundry.
At Charming Jules, a photography studio located in the Pony Express Hall, shutterbugs snap fun, creative images during photo shoots with seasonal themes. Artistic backgrounds and costumes set the scene throughout the year: in the summer, subjects pose for Fourth of July photos with American flags, and in the fall, they grin for Halloween-themed shoots with skeletons and ghosts. The studio also houses a boutique stocked with vintage goods, jewelry, and home-decor items.
Wine connoisseurs keep the shelves of UnWined stocked with 100 to 150 vintages, many of which are rare or exclusive to UnWined. Culled from large and small vineyards around the globe, the bottles are all labeled with their unique flavor profile so visitors can ready their taste buds accordingly. Amid the cellar's Old-World ambiance, connoisseurs pair visitors with wines to suits their tastes and help them print their own labels. The winery also hosts tastings and live music on some weekends.
Wine tastings are also held on Friday nights and live music is performed on Saturday nights.
Even if your eyes don't notice a cracked tile or a rough patch of concrete, your feet probably will. That’s why the certified employees at Class A Coatings make floors as pleasing to the eyes as they are to the touch through their design-friendly services. They cover floors with interior concrete and artistic epoxy, crafting a variety of looks from contemporary marbleized finishes accented with gold striations to more traditional smooth, solid colors.
They also give poolside concrete a tastefully distressed look with acid stains and engraving techniques, and their nonslip coatings protect pool guests from slipping or sliding. Some of their materials even resist the sun's heat, keeping outdoor surfaces comfortable all day long.

Once upon a time, Swanson's Cleaners technicians would begin their days by firing up irons, stirring starches, and strapping on roller skates. The business was once one of the largest dry-cleaning facilities west of the Mississippi, the epicenter of Salvin Swanson's vast dry-cleaning empire—an empire packed with Sacramento's laundry, even the chain mail of its knights. To get the job of all this weighty laundry done, staffers needed their own wheels, plus wheels for their hampers.
Now helmed by the third generation of Swansons, the business has grown to 15 locations. In these locations, the team launders and dry-cleans garments with the eco-friendly Revive system, which uses a gentle, odorless, and antibacterial solution made from organic ingredients. Ever mindful of the earth and the community, Swanson's Cleaners recycles its hangers and plastic bags and has collected more than 27,000 coats for local children in need through its Coats for Kids program.
