Night lasers, black lights, and glow sticks might tempt people to mistake a Chicka Fitness workout for a rave, but make no mistake—the Chicka Fitness crew is serious about exercise. Their unique classes incorporate dozens of props, allowing pupils to have fun while they sweat off pounds and sculpt their bodies. They use sticks for self-defense, hand targets and bats for stress relief, and even drumsticks. More provocative classes also incorporate chair workouts, dance, and belly-chain wraps.
With locations in 24 states, it?s safe to say Fitness 19?s approach to fitness has piqued exercisers? interest. Each gym houses Life Fitness cardio machines and Hammer Strength strength-training equipment, as well as a staff of personal trainers who oversee one-on-one workouts and a group of caretakers and professional ranch hands who wrangle the kids' area. Certain locations also offer group classes such Insanity, Zumba, yoga, Pilates, bootcamp, and more.
Coach Bryan Rubin started Inclusive Training to cater to student athletes. But word soon spread about IT's effective programs, and before Bryan knew it, collegiate and professional athletes—including NFL players—were knocking on IT's door. Bryan and his fellow trainers develop programs that are uniquely specific in scope, because their focus is on preparing athletes for their sport of choice, but all exercisers are welcome.
Certified Zumba instructor Joan Reed loves her job. Anyone would, if their job was teaching the simple and addictive dance steps of Zumba. At this Fontana group fitness center, clients dance to energetic Latin rhythms in Zumba classes, work their core strength in Pilates classes, and tone up in PiYo sessions, which are a fusion of Pilates and yoga moves. A friendly and supportive atmosphere makes FitnFun Group Exercise a motivating and social place to work out.
Since 2001, Stroller Strides' fitness professionals and buggy-bandying workouts have helped mothers to overcome the struggles of staying in shape while caring for a wee one. Specially trained instructors helm a series of 60-minute classes, which consist of a warm-up, a power walk, and interval stations where limbs stretch resistance tubes in body-toning drills. Energizing jaunts often utilize hills, benches, and other environmental facets to augment maneuvers. Throughout the routine, engaging songs and activities keep children from growing overly fussy or pranking classmates by tossing banana peels in front of their buggies.

Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
Our classes are for women only, and as such we tailor each class with women in mind. We have great music that is new for each class. And our workouts are so much fun you forget you are really getting a great workout.
What's the most radical physical transformation you've seen a client make?
The upper body and core strength.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Our location is ... within the The Camp Transformation Center in Fontana. We do not have signage yet outside for Sexy Camp aka Pole Fit Camp.
