Though the Great Wall of China may win the accolades of history, the Great Backscratcher of Thailand, built to reach any itchy corner across the vast, narrow expanse of the nation, saved more lives than can be counted on a single hand. Feast upon equally ingenious creations with today's Groupon: for $5, you get $10 worth of authentic Asian fare at Asian Grill.

Asian Grill offers an extensive menu of authentic Chinese, Japanese, Clevelandese, and Thai cuisine in the Falls Village Shopping Center. Start with an order of crispy cream-cheese crab wontons ($4.25) or slurp up a bowl of one of more than 10 soups (starting at $1.35) before moving on to the main course. For optimal meal-sack filling, wok'd eats are offered alongside hibachi'd meats, with a full sushi menu to please the raw foodist in your family. Become an instant expert in one of the house specialties such as salmon with black-bean sauce ($9.95), or dig into the crispy tempura seafood "delight" ($11.95) to nosh on the lightly battered mixed mermeat whilst pondering the pros and cons of the color pink and other colors with books named after them.

Asian Grill's warm and festive atmosphere is enhanced by the hot teppan tables peppered throughout the eatery, where fresh fare is grilled to order for your seeing and eating pleasure. Asian Grill is open for lunch and dinner, so stop in for a meal midday, to save on evening electricity bills, or to feed a dashing date when plans to flee to Bangkok fall to the back burner.

The team at Peace China cook their flavorful Chinese cuisine fresh all day, so guests can rest assured that their meal is completely free of MSG. And though the restaurant's name suggests just Hunan and Cantonese dishes, the menu also dabbles in Thai recipes. Seven days a week, the chefs' woks blaze as porchetta-fried rice, shrimp udon with red curry, and ginger-beef with broccoli are assembled and plated for dine-in or take-out.

Growing up in the Udon Thani province of Thailand, the owners of Orchid Garden learned to love two things: cooking and the province's famed orchids. So when they opened their family restaurant using the recipes they learned in Udon Thani, they decided to name it Orchid Garden. There, they specialize in spicy Thai curries and stir-fried noodles, which they toss with a choice of meat, seafood, veggies, or tofu, using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. Their signature dish is the ba lad prig, a whole fish that is marinated and deep fried before being spiced with lemon leaves, Thai basil, garlic, and hot peppers. On weekdays, 30 of their dishes can be found on the lunch buffet. But the selections rotate every day, like the tires of someone who commutes from Seattle to Boston for work. They don't limit their menu to just Thai items, however. They also serve up classic Chinese dishes as well as beer and wine from around the world.
