The instructors at Noah’s Art can see the artist within every child. During classes, summer camps, and birthday parties, they teach children aged 3–14 fine-art techniques with hands-on, playful art experiences. Instructors focus on instilling in children the confidence that comes from creating an original piece and igniting their imagination to allow them to explore their creativity outside of the classroom.
SandhillsModel & Talent Agency specializes in representing commercial print, high-fashion runway, and promotional models, as well as actors. However, the agency knows it takes a lot of work for an aspiring star to become a professional. That's why the staff offers training in the form of lectures and hands-on activities, which include topics ranging from walking the runway to shopping on a budget.
Deborah Reavis, the resident artist at Wine, Paint & Canvas, has nearly two decades of teaching art under her belt, making her an excellent tutor for classrooms full of fledgling painters of all ages. Seated in front of rows of provided easels and surrounded by the works of past classes, students follow their instructors’ directions to produce the evening’s piece. Though everyone works from the same template, each student has the chance to stylistically personalize their work by mixing colors or painting only the coolest facial hair on self-portraits. Before brush touches canvas, guests can mingle over glasses of BYO wine and bottles of beer, with soda available for purchase.
