Water is a powerful compound. It can carve deep canyons, power hydroelectric plants, or even give people superhuman abilities. The latter feat is accomplished aboard Rocky Mountain Flyboard Colorado's water-propulsion flying machines. Nozzles strapped to hands and feet lift pilots up to 40 feet in the air, let them dive into the water, or allow them to perform advanced tricks such as back flips.

And to give them peace of mind, each Kids? Nite Out Across America staff member is vetted via a national background check every year.

Designed as a less taxing version of the Oyster Urban Race, this adrenaline-packed relay leads racers with brawny bods and street savvy on a covert mission to uncover mysterious challenges around the city in the fastest time possible. Contestants lace up sneakers, stretch rock-hard winter muscles, and flip on their noggins, as this race combines athletic prowess with brain-stimulating strategy. Racers will be given a passport containing five checkpoint locations where they must meet physical trials such as running, biking, climbing, and paddling while simultaneously deciphering clues and completing challenging tasks. Destinations may be located at city sites such as public parks, stadiums, amusement parks, shopping centers, fitness clubs, zoos, retail stores, dining establishments, high-rise buildings, and any other landmark a pop-culture movie-monster might invade. For the challenges, competitors may be asked to complete an obstacle course, solve puzzles, bowl, brave a rollycoaster, slip 'n' slide, tube in a river, or even chug a beer, and the course they take to arrive at the check point is completely up to them.

As a gymnastics coach, Kaia F.I.T. founder and owner Nikki Warren always noticed how children in motion tumble and play with ease. They were effortlessly agile and flexible, and yet many of them would grow into adults who would struggle to stay active. Kaia F.I.T. sprang from this realization with the goal of restoring female physiques to the adolescent pliability everyone enjoys before they grow their rock-hard exoskeleton after sixth grade.

At Kaia F.I.T. Lafayette, a team of expert fitness coaches retrain bodies with dynamic workouts designed to strengthen muscles, boost energy, and vanquish fat. They root their F.I.T. sessions in functional training, a method that enlists athletes' own body weight and movement to stimulate fitness. They also ramp up their regular F.I.T. program during Brik boot camps, in which students sweat through ever-changing routines to keep their bodies in better shape than fad diets or preserving them in amber for swimsuit season would. Although each program ranges in intensity and length, all workouts and moves can be modified to suit the fitness level of any client. To further help clients reach their fitness goals, the studio makes available a bounty of healthy, flavorful recipes online.

Running with 1,500-pound bulls is inherently dangerous?the organizers of the stateside Running with the Bulls don't deny that. But that doesn't mean that the thrill of Pamplona has to come with the mistreatment of the animals, which is why participants who hit, slap, harass, or otherwise impede the progress of the bulls will be removed from the venue. With those distractions aside, spectators can focus on the essence of the run: watching 12 horn-swinging bulls dash through a quarter-mile course on the heels of runners who must have heard that this event was called Running with the Lambs. But the event gives the community more than elevated heart rates, as each three-day spectacle begins with a charity run that benefits Operation Hawkeye, an organization that supports the families of Special Operations forces who've been killed in combat.
