At Lead-N-Succeed, Master Certified dog trainer Maria Ruvio improves communication lines between pooches and owners with hands-on behavioral modification and positive reinforcement. Working with all breeds, sizes, and ages, Maria molds pups into positive members of society, teaching them how to properly walk on a leash, how to deal with separation anxiety, and how to hail cabs without growling at others. Maria also offers coaching in verbal commands, and provides dog-walking services in half- and full-hour intervals.
If your pet is tired of staying home during the workweek, either workshop his resume or ease his mind with a relaxing day at Pooches Sport and Spa. The 2,500-square-foot facility hosts climate-controlled play areas, which are carefully partitioned for the safety of pups and big dogs alike. To maintain your pet's overall cleanliness and safety, the center also features epoxy seamless flooring that wards off bacteria and an advanced air filtration system to vaporize lingering odors. Filling the role of dog's best friend, the collective caring staff at Pooches Sport and Spa provides continued surveillance throughout the stay, along with interactive engagement during playtime. On the off chance that a well-fluffed poodle causes your pup's heart to beat wildly, an experienced veterinarian is always on call.

Maura Kelley’s own pet, a french bulldog named Picasso, is more than enough proof that she loves both animals and art. An artist of more than 20 years—with a BFA in painting from the University of Hartford—Maura started Pet and House Portraits by Maura Kelley as a way to express her love of animals and art and share it with like-minded customers. Working in oils, pastels, and watercolors, she uses pets’ personalities as inspiration for their portraits, resulting in vivid portrayals of furry family members. Maura also crafts portraits of humans and houses and explores other creative outlets such as face painting and theatrical-set painting.
