At Classic Image Salon and Spa, salon professionals form lasting relationships with their clients, keeping a database of each visitor's product and treatment history. Beyond personalizing their services, the studio's salon professionals give detailed instructions to help clients care for their skin and hair at home.
The Aveda concept salon incorporates botanically based Aveda products to style tresses and purify complexions. Spa packages relax clients with aromatherapy oils and varied treatments, and haircare services benefit from the detoxifying effects of Aveda hair products.
Evolve Spa welcomes customers with a modern, spacious interior, whose warm wood and leather accents create a calming environment that melts stress and unfinished snow cones away. After stepping into one of Evolve's private massage rooms, clients can stretch out on a comfortable, emotionally supportive massage bed. Once you are horizontal, one of Evolve's highly trained massage therapists will proceed to work his or her sure-handed magic on all knots, kinks, and pinched nerves incurred during a daring mental-prison escape. After an hour of tenderizing treatment, newly de-knotted customers can nimbly wander out into the world feeling a strange sense of kinship to Gumby.
At All About You Day Spa, a staff of licensed professionals sooth body and mind with a variety of skin and body services such as massage, facials, microdermabrasion, spray-tanning, nails, and special occasion make-up. Owner Brandi Huett is a graduate of the Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics, where she studied Pfrimmer deep-muscle therapy. The technique aims to soften taut muscle fibers, enhance circulation, and promote cellular healing. Her team also personalizes facials with an array of BeautiControl products, pampers tootsies with organic apple-cider vinegar soaks, and provides nutrition-counseling services and free make-up consultations.
For Glo On The Go's owner, Gail Ward, tan skin seemed like an impossible dream. With a strong history of skin cancer in her family, she knew tanning beds and booths were off-limits and turned instead to bottled tanning lotions and creams, trying nearly every one she could find with less than ideal results. So when Gail?s sister Esther told her about airbrush tanning, she decided to give it a shot?and was amazed to discover she had finally found a method of self-tanning that worked for her skin type and, best of all, looked natural. She was so impressed, in fact, that she decided to open her own tanning salon in order to share airbrush tanning with melanoma survivors and other clients concerned about the adverse health effects of traditional tanning.
Nine years?and 30 spray-tan-solution tests?later, Gail took her commitment to counteracting paleness one step further by developing her own line of custom spray-tan solutions. The custom formulas allow Gail and her staff of skincare experts to match clients? skin types to the solution best suited to their needs. There are three options to choose from and each high-quality solution provides a natural look without bronzers or color additives so tans don't streak or stain. The Clearly Tan Light solution, for example, is ideal for skin that burns easily, whereas the salon's go-to formula, Beautifully Bronzed, is fortified with anti-aging and skin-strengthening ingredients such as amino acids and vitamins A, C, and E, making it an ideal option for nearly anyone. While the team outfits people of all walks of life with golden tans, they especially cater to bodybuilders and ballroom dancers, many of whom visit Glo On The Go before competitions and performances.
Glo On The Go offers automated spray tans in the L Spa space they acquired in the spring of 2014. The automated spray tans use a two-position, voice-guided system in an open-air platform to give skin a nourishing, spa-like treatment with vitamins, aloe, and lanolin. There's even special instructions for perfect hands and feet.
