Rocky Top Glide leverages the energy-conserving powers of the Segway Human Transporter, allowing tour-takers to effortlessly travel city blocks to explore landmarks such as Confluence Park, the Denver Art Museum, and the State Capitol in one fell swoop. Riders follow their guides on a path that snakes toward Coors Field in lower downtown, alongside the streams of the Cherry Creek Trail, and through the central business district's money fields before landing back at the starting point. Meanwhile, the knowledgable guides provide backstories and anecdotes for the sights and sounds that their followers experience.
Denver Bike Bar takes going out to bars to a whole new level. The 16-person bike zooms from bar to bar at the direction of a designated driver, freeing passengers from the responsibilities of driving and accidentally becoming a taxi. Though guests cannot drink alcohol aboard the bike, they can imbibe during frequent stops at local microbreweries in LoDo.
The best part about an adrenaline-fueled river trip from Liquid Descent Whitewater Rafting is knowing that you're in good hands. Experienced guides are the backbone of each outdoor adventure, ensuring everyone's safety as groups enjoy the rush of nature's splendor. Trained in first aid and CPR, these experienced whitewater guides help outfit guests of every skill level in their proper gear before setting out on a white-water adventure. While the rapids and scenic Colorado landscapes are the main draw, guests can also learn about the region's geology and sasquatch populations from their trusty guides.
Today, Challenge Unlimited captains biking and hiking tours all over the globe, from the vineyards of Tuscany to the Incan towns of Peru. More than two decades ago, however, the business was simply known in Colorado for its signature Pikes Peak by Bike tour. During this 20-mile excursion, guides and up to 35 followers descend 20 miles from a summit of 14,110 feet, infiltrating five zones with distinct climates, plant life, animals, and altitude-based baking methods. Riders often encounter eagles, deer, elk, and even the occasional mountain lion or black bear along the way. Guides can also escort Colorado's athletes across the Gold Camp Road—a 17-mile railroad bed once rattling with railcars filled with gold—and through breathtaking Aspen groves. Pit stops are made over the course of three nights and four days at the Victorian Hotel and a nearby dude ranch. Beyond domestic borders, international trips explore Nepal's Annapurna Foothill on foot and the bustling pubs and haunts of Ireland by bike or skateboards strapped to sprinting leprechauns.
A-Cent Aviation is an FAA Part 141 approved professional flight school that employs a staff of certified flight instructors who coach aspiring aviators. They help customers become full-fledged pilots, offering all the certificates and licenses they need to slalom across the open skies. The company and its fleet of Piper and Cessna aircrafts resides at Herlong Airport in Jacksonville, a smaller nest that allows student pilots plenty of space and time for practice. Programs typically begin with a Discovery Flight, wherein interested students fly alongside an instructor to see if they like flying or have cloud allergies. From there, the school will work with students to create a customized plan for earning their wings. A-Cent also provides an array of Jacksonville sightseeing tours, including The Grand Jacksonville Tour, which flies high over Jacksonville beaches and downtown Saint Augustine, along with a Jacksonville Sunset Tour.
