Holistic wellness abounds at Mystic Fitness Yoga Studio, where dedicated instructors empower minds and soothe sinews with Bikram, Vinyasa and power yoga classes in a supportive setting. Students can fill their itineraries and flexible Far Side calendars with diverse yoga lessons from an accommodating schedule of classes. For gentle body bending, pupils can gently twist and stretch in mindful Hatha classes, or tykes can perfect their well-behaved child's pose in kids' yoga, geared for gurus aged 6–12. In the spacious, vibrantly hued practice room, yogic neophytes shake off stress amid temperatures up to 105 degrees as they sweat out toxins with 26 dynamic postures in Bikram yoga classes. Rockin' Vinyasa boosts circulation and helps tone muscles with fluid asanas and energizing music performed by yoga mats working on their demo tape.
Taught by expert instructors Carrie Honore and Lois Gannon, classes at evolve yoga guide students along individualized paths of mental, physical, and spiritual enrichment inside a welcoming, in-home studio. In-depth direction and hands-on adjustments imbue pupils with fundamental postures and breathing techniques during a basic yoga course, designed for beginners or those looking to perfect their posture. Restorative yoga relaxes bodies and diminishes stress with a gentle, contemplative flow that begins with standing poses and gradually evolves as students work their way down to positions on the mat, before finally burrowing beneath the studio. Prenatal and Baby & Me sessions invite expectant moms or guardians with tykes up to 6 months old to connect with their babes as they soothe aches, practice relaxation techniques, and eliminate mental stress and anxiety. Additionally, 45-minute meditations help students find the type of increased focus and mindfulness they need to finally win at Jenga. A weekly schedule of class times can be found here.
As a trained dancer since age 5, it’s not surprising that Ali Struyk eventually gravitated toward Zumba, a dance-fitness hybrid that helped her shed pounds after the birth of her child. Zumba integrates dance styles such as salsa, hip-hop, and rumba to upbeat Latin rhythms, simultaneously burning calories, strengthening muscles, and boosting energy levels without resorting to witchcraft. Students follow the freeform routines to the best of their ability, which allows participants of varying experience levels to bust a move in the same class.

Performing yoga can balance the mind and body, but it won’t help save bears at risk for extinction. Unless, of course, if you’re working Spirit Bear Power Yoga. Named after the Spirit Bear Youth Coalition, a non-profit geared towards protecting the snowy white Spirit Bear, the studio simultaneously raises awareness of the animal’s plight while hosting a range of yoga courses led by certified instructors with either 200 or 500 hours of training under their belts.
These nature-minded teachers specialize in heated Vinyasa flow yoga, held in a 95-degree room. The heat, coupled with the graceful poses, works to increase flexibility, deepen stretches, and expose any snowmen secretly masquerading as yogis. Outside their heated sessions, they lead candlelit classes, as well as classes backed by electronica and reggae tunes.
