Photographers Paul and Sheri Bartoszek have a knack for capturing images at exactly the right moment, whether they’re snapping shots of a newly wedded couple slowly waltzing across the dance floor or shooting film of a musician as his fingers fly up and down a guitar amid thousands of screaming fans. No matter if they’re in the Serendipity Studio or the brand-new downtown Nashville studio, the photographers strive to take pictures worthy of placement among their other works, many of which hang in galleries across the United States and Canada. They then develop prints, which can framed or pinned proudly to clothes, and supply clients with high-resolution digital images.
In addition to snapping their own shots, the shutterbugs teach photography classes. Students learn how to operate point-and-shoot and DSLR cameras and how to get the most out of natural or artificial lighting in various indoor and outdoor locations, such as the square in Murfreesboro or a doghouse.
At more than 900 learning centers across the world, Sylvan offers kids a leg up through personalized, one-on-one programs prescribed by an in-depth skills assessment. Students build on past lessons to learn progressively, and sessions may hone in on different disciplines, granting kids the confidence to interpret literature and the rhetorical skills needed to negotiate a later bedtime. The positive mindset of personable, invested instructors helps to inspire kids to greater academic feats, as does a prize program that rewards hard work with CDs and gift cards.

The center's skilled nutritionists empower dieters to rid themselves of unwanted heft utilizing a two-visit treatment plan. During the first step of their shrinking sojourn, calorie-shedders undergo a full-body checkup at the hands of the center's expert staff, which includes physicians and nutritional educators. After surveying the dieter's medical history and hormone balance, nutritionists draft a personalized food plan that may include prescriptions for supplements or a new kitten to inspire increased frolicking. A bioimpedance measurement comparing body fat with nonfat is taken, along with overall body measurements. Following this first visit, it's up to the dieter to follow their new regimen, which imbues corporeal forms with health-building nutrients that will gradually help shed weight while teaching healthier dietary habits. On the second visit, staff specialists ensure that lean muscle mass is being built using a second bioimpedance analysis to scope out the body's fat content. Like a wizened history teacher who’s heard every excuse in the book, the bioimpedance analysis assesses actual fat loss versus bone density you left on the bus, or lean muscle mass you traded for a pudding pack.
