Central Valley Stars Dance Studio, like all STARS 21 studios, first sprang from the aspirations of a national dance group from Layton, Utah in 1970. Fueled by a drive to share their passion for dance with aspiring youngsters, they started STARS so they could shape the talents of kids, adolescents, and teens at an early age. It proved so successful that they were eventually able to transform it into the multistate dance program it is today.
Now, the time-tested curriculum introduces students ? whether in preschool or high school ? to myriad forms of dance. Kids master the graceful movements of classical ballet or acquaint themselves with the rhythmic motions and sweltering full-body bunny suits of hip-hop. Longtime students advance to one of the studio's many performing teams, lighting up professional sports stadiums during half-time shows.
