The The Dive Shop's instructors, drawing from Scuba Schools International's programs, teach water-safety skills to fledgling divers and swimmers of all ages. Classes and activities range from the Scuba Rangers club?where kids aged 8?12 learn to snorkel and scuba dive from the safety of a pool?to open-water dives, swimming lessons, and more advanced stress-and-rescue dive sessions, during which instructors turn dog paddlers into almost-mermaids, minus the pet octopuses.
The Dive Shop On McEver Dive Center is Swim and Scuba Diving School is located on McEver Road between Mundy Mill and Browns Bridge Rd in Gainesville, GA. We offer all levels of scuba certification courses, from beginner scuba diver to professional dive instructor development as well as swim lessons from beginner to expert
At Dive Educators, the team of certified instructors works to uphold the center's SSI Diamond status. That means everything from helping newcomers get their feet wet in the heated waters of the center's 25' x 50' pool to teaching more seasoned divers advanced skills such as technical diving in the pool's 20' x 25' x 10' dive well. To supplement the in-water curriculum, the instructors have two classrooms where students can complete coursework and test the waterproofness of a Power Point presentation.
With Dive Dive Dive's Discover Scuba class, ungilled land dwellers can get a quick taste of what it's like to don scuba gear, navigate open waters, and breathe beneath the waves. Whether you're curious about clownfish mating habits or wish to erect an underwater tanning salon for pallid merpeople, an introductory scuba class is an easy way to decide if aquatic life is for you.
Adventures in Diving offers a painless introduction to aquatic escapades during the introductory course, which invites divers to suit up and learn from professional, fully gilled instructors. During the two-hour classes, divers will absorb scuba basics while submerged in an indoor, heated pool that is guaranteed to be free of water hornets and mermaid hypnotists. Those who are interested in continuing their underwater education can swim toward open-water certification by signing up for further classes at Adventures in Diving. Participants must be 10 or older, and must be able to swim before taking the class.
