Adventure-seeking photographic partners Susan and Stewart Powers capture fun and elegant shots of visitors in their professional studio and garden, and travel to wedding ceremonies to document couples as they establish matrimonial alliances. Families, newborns, lovers, and jury-duty reunions converge for portrait sessions, posing naturally and playfully for shots that are retouched before printing. A verdant garden acts as the backdrop for naturalistic shoots, the sunlight appealingly wreathing clients as they pose beneath stone arches and the low-flung boughs of surrounding trees. Wedding packages allow couples to live out their special days secure in the knowledge that every vow, kiss, and bouquet-related eye injury will be captured for all eternity.

Though Jeff and Sabrina Williams come from very different backgrounds—Sabrina grew up in urban Rio de Janeiro, and Jeff hails from a rural area of Memphis—they share a mutual love for photography that ignited their personal and professional relationship when they first met in 2000. The award-winning duo developed this passion through eight years of formal education, which led to their MFAs in photography as well as the creation of JS Photography. As the parents of two young boys, Jeff and Sabrina have a particular interest in family, newborn, and maternity photography. Combining the best aspects of fine-art and commercial photography, they strive to capture timeless images that are both classic and contemporary, while avoiding outdated trends such as drawing handlebar mustaches on each subject. Together, they've also immortalized more than 1,250 weddings across their careers and have also enjoyed imparting their talents and knowledge of Photoshop, lighting, and black-and-white film to other aspiring shutterbugs while serving as part-time teachers at the University of Florida.

The sharp-eyed shutterbugs at Flash Digital Portraits take a convenient approach to photography, but they never skimp on creativity. Inside their studios, flashbulbs light up the room as the photographer captures grins from a wide range of subjects including infants, high-school seniors, and entire families. To further personalize sessions, clients can choose from a variety of props and plenty of colorful backgrounds. They can even bring special items and mementos from home such as a favorite stuffed animal or an old birthday cake with sentimental value. After the shutters snap for the final time, Flash Digital Portraits? technicians get to work on customizing the results, outfitting collages with unique borders and other enhancements.

Boasting photo credits in Sports Illustrated and the Daytona Beach News-Journal, husband-and-wife team Gregg and Angel Adams Pachkowski draws on its photojournalism experience to masterfully frame shots inside the 2,000-square-foot studio at Photography 35. During portrait sessions, Angel carefully tailors classic lighting and works to keep sitters relaxed so the camera captures their true personality. And when working a wedding, both photographers flit seamlessly in and out of the crowds to capture unposed moments, from spontaneous dance parties to revelations that the groom is actually a horse.
