Natural Oasis: A William Edge Aveda Spa is an Aveda-concept spa fueled by the brand’s botanically inspired products. Licensed massage therapists administer the 75-minute elemental nature massage, which relies on a custom blend of Aveda aromas and a variety of massage styles to target sore muscles as effectively as a laser sight on a glove targets a high-five partner. A questionnaire precedes the elemental nature facial so that aestheticians can cosset face plates in scents and products selected according to the client's preferences and beauty needs.
The professional stress-extractors at Reneaux can and will mollify your muscles with a variety of massage techniques. If you've been daydreaming of the archetypically relaxing therapeutic massage, opt for the Swedish technique, which soothes the body and mind with long, flowing strokes, medium pressure, and exceptionally delicate pancakes. If a rough ping-pong training schedule leaves your muscles stiff and sore, take advantage of Reneaux's sports massage, which is designed to minimize recovery time and keep muscles in tip-top shape for training. The vigorous technique is customized to complement each client's athletic-training regimen. For added mind- and sinus-clearing benefits, try the aromatherapy massage, which aims at maximum relaxation with the combination of Swedish techniques and highly aromatic essential oils.
Eleven years ago, fellow massage students Terrie and Bret Lonow watched the rising sun from the back of Bret's pick-up truck, sipping coffee and imagining a future together in business. Today, the friendship has blossomed into a marriage and the dream into a reality. The pair of therapists helm Massage Way, where they employ flowing strokes, targeted pressure, and hydrating oils or lotions to fend off the physical, mental, and spiritual manifestations of stress—such as soreness and the development of a third brain lobe to house surplus worries. Swedish, deep-tissue, sports, and reflexology modalities ease pain and cultivate relaxation in a warm, serene room with quiet music.

Tell us about your business.
The intention of my work is to follow the recipe of Ida Rolf, who is the founder of Structural Integration/Rolfing. The goal of SI is to align the body into vertical and horizontal planes by slowly manipulating the fascia layer.
What sets your business apart?
There are many different modalities within the massage profession and in my personal experience working with the fascia creates the greatest overall, long-lasting change. It is a slow body stretch in which no lotions or oils are used.
What inspired you to start or run this business?
I have been blessed with the hands and spirit of a healer and by giving the gift of this type of massage, I can give of myself for the greatest good!
What is your most popular offering?
Connective Tissue Massage (CTM) in which I work on the most superficial layer of the fascia as I move broader bands of that fascia. This is a great place to start for the client because it introduces the SI work more gradually, but I would always recommend the client evolve to the SI ten series.
What kind of training/expertise do you have?
After massage school four years ago I had 600 hours. Then, I went on to train in Miami for two years running and I have accumulated 1,030 hours with my sole intent being the study of SI. My heart is truly wrapped around this study. It is a magnificent modality and I'm quite proud to be in the lineage of Ida P. Rolf.
