When he was studying kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Dr. Justin Marchegiani planned to attend a traditional medical school. To prepare for post-grad life as a doctor, he not only accessorized exclusively with stethoscopes, but also worked in a surgical center. There, his plans began to change. As Justin watched patients struggle with chronic conditions and turn to surgical solutions, he steadily became more attached to the idea that preventing disease is better than treating it after the fact.
Off to chiropractic school he went. After receiving his degree, Justin studied clinical nutrition, exercise, and functional medicine. Today he heads his own practice, where he uses holistic techniques to heal patients, specializing in issues that relate to hormones, thyroid function, weight, and digestion. Dr. Justin works alongside massage therapist Heatherly Stankey and reflexologist Arthur Hamilton, who aim to restore bodies' function in natural, non-bionic ways.
