At CrossFit South Boise, Jared and his team lead constantly changing CrossFit workouts that empower students to run long distances and perform an array of functional movements. Their CrossFit routines rely on a variety of different techniques, including weightlifting, pull-ups, jump roping, and swinging battle hammers. Despite their diverse backgrounds—some have served in the armed forces, while others are former gymnasts and dancers—the coaches at Expedition Crossfit all have one thing in common: until now, they’ve never found anything quite like CrossFit. At Expedition, they designed new Workouts of the Day (WODs) each day based on CrossFit’s pillars of varied, functional fitness. Though the workouts constantly change, they often include a mix of exercises that range from running and weightlifting to rowing, plyometrics, cardio, and unconventional techniques such as rope climbing and tire flipping.
Bronco CrossFit's three trainers welcome guests of all fitness levels to the studio, where they scale workouts to individuals' fitness levels and push CrossFitters to exceed their training goals. No matter participants' fitness levels, however, the Workouts of the Day keep them guessing with a variety of daily exercises that include rowing, powerlifting, kettlebells, and bodyweight exercises.
