The certified teachers at TC Dance Club International recognize that people dance for all kinds of reasons; accordingly, they structure different programs to meet the needs of everyone from casual dancers hoping to light up the dance floor at an upcoming party to perfectionists in the pursuit of lifelong grace. Their lessons incorporate a multitude of styles, including tango, merengue, foxtrot, and rain dances. On Friday nights, students can practice what they've learned in dance parties, which are set to premade mixes in a room with dimmed lights and an open bar.
Beneath the purple-and-white-striped walls, ladies of all ages and fitness levels twirl around poles and sink seductively into chairs during The Perfect Poleforma’s alternative fitness classes. Instructors lead groups of up to 10 women through beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes. The classes start with basic pole spins and leg-strength exercises and graduate to swinging upside down, hanging onto the pole with just the inner thighs, and climbing flagpoles to add stars as new states are discovered. They also conduct parties for bachelorettes and birthday girls, allowing groups of friends free rein of the ceiling-mounted poles.
Our Covington Studio includes over 6000 square feet, a spacious lobby, year round viewing, homework area, free WIFI, 300+ parking spaces, flat screen TVs, a full dance store, three spacious music & dance rooms with sprung shock-absorbent flooring for the dancer, and a fully qualified staff!
Pole Play Diva Fitness Studio's flirty fitness classes blend sassy entertainment with a calorie-burning workout, bolstering women's self-esteem and diminishing their waistlines. During sessions with five students, experienced instructors provide encouragement while guiding dancers of all skill levels through the variety of fitness classes and pole-dancing lessons. From Pole Fit, which focuses on rudimentary technique, to Pole Pleasure 102, an advanced class that teaches tricky dance moves, bodies of all shapes and sizes spin, twist, and shimmy on the practice poles. Each lesson has a suggested wardrobe, and pole pupils should wear shorts with a fair amount of exposed skin to help them to grip and acclimate poles to human contact.
Colleen’s Studio of Dance Arts develops rhythmic movements in students of all ability levels with a full suite of weekly dance lessons. Throughout the month, skillful instructors unmask the trade secrets of multifarious moves and grooves, from the classic trifecta of ballet, tap, and jazz to mid-postmodern hip hop, musical theater, and cheer dance. With gatherings of 15 or fewer dancers per lesson, each student is ensured individualized attention and the chance to perfect postures, commingle with fleet-footed peers, and transform every now and then into a swan. Liberated from the obligation of registration fees, prospective lords and ladies of the dance can freely peruse the online schedule for upcoming classes.
Our passion is to promote the love and enjoyment of social dancing, to empower people with new social skills, to guide them to attain confidence on the dance floor and in life, and to give people a fun, clean way to meet new friends and build relationships.
Nani Cusson switches gears from tango to swing as easily as she pivots on the floor. The certified dance instructor has mastered a library of styles, including the elegant steps of the waltz, the twirls of salsa, and the fluid dips of the foxtrot. When teaching, she coaches only one person or pair at a time—that way, she can adjust her guidance to suit their skill level, and not just resort to the one dance that everyone can do: the first fourth of the YMCA. Her tutelage therefore pushes clients toward specific goals, whether they hope to dance in competitions, learn a wedding routine, or simply carry themselves with confidence. Her studio welcomes students seven days a week by appointment, and she also leads group classes by request.
