Evolution Yoga is designed to be a place of relaxation and transformation. Splash Landings Indoor Aquatic Center's year-round indoor water park brims with swimmers of all ages and skill levels enjoying its watery attractions, which range from a zero-depth entry pool for kids, a relaxing whirlpool, and slides. Soaring above the pool are vintage model airplanes sporting vintage model water wings, and lifeguards stand throughout the facility to ensure tykes are protected. The staff also prepares visitors for safe splashing with a wide array of swimming lessons offered year-round.
Inside an open-floor gym stocked with treadmills, weights, and bikes, Body Empowered Fitness's personal trainers bolster clients' bods with custom workout regimes and specialized exercises. The gym's staff, including owner and NASM–certified corrective-exercise specialist Sylvia Knilans, constructs fitness plans that utilize Simultaneous Functional Training, a fusion of strength and stamina exercises, to slim figures and build muscle without radioactive spider bites. Trainers share their knowledge with up to four participants at various points throughout each workout and catalogue the day's progress for future exercise regimes.
Body & Brain Holistic Yoga's classes incorporate yoga, tai chi, meditation, martial arts, and signature breathing postures to forge a mind-body exercise that helps students to awaken their inner ki energy. Teaching hips to swivel to new circumferences, dance instructors impart their masterful moves unto students in the respected tradition Arthur Murray has upheld since 1912. Students dance with a partner, or the instructor, who provides a greater understanding of the dance style of their choosing with either method. Protégés may find their new moves applicable in a number of settings, such as when prepping for a wedding dance or blending into an airport crowd that breaks out in a cha-cha. Embodying the three-count time of a stately waltz brings partners in close; rumba moves and swing steps add vibrancy and playfulness to one’s repertoire.
