Joseph, the award-winning photographer behind Derby Photography, draws upon a range of aesthetic styles when taking pictures, from the realistic bent of photojournalism to the pristine composition of classic European portraiture and fine art. For more than 20 years, Joseph has captured high-school seniors, kids, families, and engaged couples in of-the-moment poses that represent his subjects’ personalities. Clients can flash a grin at a location of their choosing, or opt for the expansive confines of Derby Photography’s studio or Derby Portrait Park’s more than 3 acres of land. In addition to portrait sessions, Joseph also extends his services to weddings, modeling portfolios, headshots, and professional events such as auctions and charity benefits.
Wedding parties. Families. Graduating seniors. These are just a few of the subjects that attract the lenses of Classic Image Photography's resident artists. After free consultations, photographer Nicole Waldron and videographer Mike Trentacosti capture still and moving images with a combination of photojournalistic, traditional, and artistic styles. They then edit video and transform images into everything from custom storybook albums to metal prints.
When not at the studio, Ms. Waldron and Mr. Trentacosti hone their skills by snapping photos all over the country. In fact, customers can purchase some of Ms. Waldron's favorite images from her travels, such as the back roads of Utah or the spaghetti mountains of Colorado.
Welcoming a new child. Graduating from high school. Walking down the isle. Husband and wife Eric and Lynda Kelley harness more than 10 years of photography expertise as they capture these lifetime events. Their eye-level and high-angle shots capture posed subjects in color and black and white, highlighting the joy of a toddler as he plays with toys against a studio backdrop, or the bliss of an expectant couple silhouetted against an orange sunset.
At weddings, the duo take pictures from the moment the bride and groom leave for the aisle all the way to the reception, never stopping until newlyweds are satisfied with the coverage or everybody realizes the maid of honor has eloped with the cake. Afterward, Eric and Lynda grant couples full printing rights, assemble every picture onto a disc, and host wedding day images in an online gallery for 270 days.
Modern. Fun. Your Life.
Salome photography isn't your typical staged and posed boring photographer. And if you're tired of the typical, you've come to the right place! My photography is fun, fresh, and hip. It showcases you in the best way, the most natural way. It's about YOU having fun, be YOU!
Think of boudoir photography outfits and you probably think of lingerie. And though there are plenty of black lace corsets and fishnet stockings on display in the Haute Mama Photography gallery, there are also less conventional choices: a loose men's dress shirt and tie, an off-the-shoulders motorcycle jacket, even a strategically placed basketball that serves as a sort of top. It's partly a reflection of the diversity of the photos' subjects, whose figures range from slender to voluptuous, and partly a testament to the creativity of studio owner Leah Severson, who has designed it so that even the studio's most basic package allows for multiple outfit changes. Severson has so thoroughly mastered the boudoir photo business that she holds both group workshops and one-on-one mentoring sessions, during which she shares with other photographers tips for posing subjects, establishing the right mood for shoots, and getting their work to appear on the first page of Google results without taping anything to their monitors.
MJ Studios’ husband and wife shutterbugging team of Missy and Jason Clem employ 15 years of photographic experience apiece to forge shots that marry traditional portraiture with artistic style. During the approximately 30-minute in-studio portrait session, pets, families, or passersby wearing matching unitards willingly surrender their likenesses to the camera. Once lenses have nestled back into their caps, posers can peruse the snaps in search of a winning shot to be transformed into a package of 11 prints of varying sizes and one shiny-bottomed CD. In order to ensure that each subject looks their best, Missy and Jason bolster photos with complimentary basic touch ups and artistic effects such as editing out blemishes or editing in William Shatner.
Kim Bailey's pictures capture the personalities of her subjects, whether she's focused on glamorously dressed partygoers at a black-tie event, chronicling a baby's first Christmas, or snapping shots of a beaming bride at a wedding ceremony. Through KBPhoto, she's available for family and children's portraits, senior pictures, and more.
