At three brightly colored locations, Children's Land Learning Center fosters imaginations and cognitive abilities with early-childhood educational programs that seek to inspire children's enthusiasm for learning while meeting social, intellectual, and physical needs. In addition to state-licensed kindergarten classes, programs nurture and cultivate the minds of tots as young as 15 months, and daycare for children from six weeks to five years old. Activities cover topics such as art, music, dance, Taekwondo, math, and foreign languages.

What is one fun, unusual fact about your business?
Life moves pretty fast if you don't stop and look around. And if you look closely, you'll see that Glencoe Beach is featured in the hit movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
What special training do you or your staff have?
Our Boat Guards and Life Guards possess the Life Guard Waterfront Certificates from the American Red Cross and are certified in Red Cross CPR/AED and first aid certification. The guards are also meet the requirements set forth in US Sailing Safety/Rescue & Power boating certification.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
During your day at the beach, you can rent a shaded sun shelter, play in the sprayground, splash in the lake, play beach volleyball, rent a sailboat, lounge on a rented chair, or enjoy a snack at the concession stand. Closings due to weather or water quality will be posted by 9:45 AM on the weather hotline (847-835-1185, ext. 1) and on the Park Alerts page at www.glencoeparkdistrict.com.
Generations At Play offers offers appealing options for both adults and children: parents can relax and chat with one another or plug into complimentary Wi-Fi while their little ones are engaged in entertaining, enriching activities. Those activities might take place in a 1,500-square-foot play area outfitted with a playhouse, slide, and toys, or in a classroom where teachers lead structured lessons. The center also offers babysitting services, giving parents a change to run errands or spend an evening on the town.
Throughout the treatment areas at Spa Refresh, the gentle bubbling of water features lulls guests into relaxation as candlelight flickers upon the walls. It's a fitting setting for the pampering services that take place inside. Massages in particular feel like journeys, as they begin with a consultation to identify especially achy areas, continue with Swedish, deep-tissue, or hot-stone techniques, and conclude with complimentary showers. In private spa rooms, aestheticians perform five facials designed for sensitive, oily, and other skin types. Elsewhere, no-chip manicures and pedicures shield digits so clients don't have to wear concrete mittens.
At Playtime Doggy Daycare, dogs bound across 18,000 square feet of rubber flooring, clasping toys in their mouths and scurrying through playhouses. Owner Jody Pawelski has cultivated an experienced, animal-loving staff of both trainers and vets to oversee pups at all times.
In warmer months, canines frolic outdoors in swimming pools. At night, boarding dogs settle down in 25-square-foot temperature-controlled kennels, snuggling up to familiar pillows or lifelike mannequins of their owners brought from home.
When hours of play ruffle up dogs' coats, Playtime's groomers bathe dogs, brush out their fur, and send them on their way scented with the same doggy cologne Lassie wore in her Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech.
