In the tradition of a Brazilian churrascaria, the servers at Villa's Grill present guests with as much seasoned meat as their plates and appetites can hold. Nine different cuts of meat include everything from sausage and parmesan pork to bacon-wrapped chicken and picanha, a rump cut of beef popular in Brazil, where the owner grew up.

Though eating unlimited meat is a task in and of itself, you'll want to save room for the extensive selection of sides and desserts such as the brazilian flan. From the ninth floor, sweeping views of Arlington?s entertainment district fill the windows at Cacharel Restaurant. Cacharel?s menus list an array of steaks and seafood entrees to accompany the panorama, which includes views of Rangers Ballpark, Cowboys Stadium, and acres of trees planted between them so the buildings would stop fighting. Pale earth tones and plenty of natural light decorate the space as the staff exits the kitchen bearing swordfish piccata and center-cut pork rib chops. At the other end of the restaurant, views of serpentine roller coasters glimmer in the twilight as the staff tempts diners with homemade desserts. The Grand Ballroom portrays the same picturesque scenery through its seventh-floor windows and can be rented for weddings, meetings, and other gerunds.

      • At Kenny's, the owners pride themselves on their laid-back atmosphere, where their only policy is "to have no policy." If you want to make substitutions, the chef can do that. If you want to split a check, the server can do that, too.

The tradition of Sonny Bryan?s award-winning barbecue started more than a century ago on February 13, a date that would become circled on the calendar again and again throughout Bryan?s Barbecue history. February 13, 1910, marked the opening of Elias Bryan?s Oak Cliff restaurant, Bryan's Barbecue. Exactly 20 years later to the day, his eldest son, William ?Red? Jennings Bryan, launched his own restaurant. When February 13 rolled around again 28 years later, Elias? grandson, William "Sonny" Jennings Bryan Jr., and his wife, Joanne, opened another restaurant, the first Sonny Bryan?s Smokehouse.

Although a different Dallas family now manages multiple locations of the restaurant chain in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the legendary barbecue lives on. Sonny Bryan's original barbecue sauce spices up its savory pulled meats and ribs, which have been devoured by famous entertainers, sports legends, and A-list celebrities alike. Sonny's seasoned chefs also cater heaps of smoked brisket and jalape?o sausage to parties and events.

Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse has been on the culinary radar since 1989, snapping up awards and publicity from Food Network, the Travel Channel?s Man V. Food Nation and 101 Tastiest Places to Chowdown, and Emeril Lagasse?s The Originals with Emeril.
