Helmed by LPGA Class A instructor Kathy Hester, Mississippi?s OnTarget Golf Schools build smooth, dependable swings during six one-hour, weekly classes. The six-session program allows instructors to mold pupils? form by breaking the swing down into its component parts, introducing sound techniques and allowing ample practice repetitions to commit concepts to muscle memory, where they will join riding a bicycle and swallowing oversize jawbreakers on command. Golf gurus also teach clubbers to hit practice shots with a target in mind, developing a subconscious association between their ball?s destination and the shot required to reach it. Country Club of Canton's 18-hole course wraps snugly around a 22-acre lake, allowing it to incorporate water into play on most of the holes. The Eagle Ridge Golf Course’s 18-hole layout takes golfers loping across 6,526 yards of rolling terrain that beckons to birdie-hunters with a player-friendly, par 72 layout. Throughout the round, players attempt to land skyscraping drives or paper airplanes forged from their opponent’s scorecard in the middle of kempt fairways that arch over cresting hilltops on a path to relatively small, elevated greens. Though the undulated landscape affords golfers picturesque views across the layout, it also bears the threat of unfavorable lies, forcing golfers to showcase their ability to soundly strike balls positioned below their feet, around their knees, or balanced on a fellow player's nose. An onsite driving range helps players warm up before the round, and Eagle Ridge caters to clubbers of all ages and abilities with four tee options.

Three locations offer childcare, and the Byram facility has launched an afterschool program, where kids can do arts and crafts and engage in healthy physical activities in an environment devoid of teddy-bear drill instructors.
In 1969, Judi Sheppard Missett shared her love of jazz dance with the world through an original exercise program known as Jazzercise. Almost instantaneously a phenomenon, the regimen took off and grew to include 7,800 instructors teaching 32,000 classes weekly in 32 countries around the world. The Jazzercise Ridgeland Fitness Center counts itself amongst one of the many locations that continues to carry Judi’s torch.
True to the original program, instructors fuse elements of many other athletics into the framework of jazz dance. Pilates and yoga strengthen the core and help build long and lean muscle. But the store doesn't merely indulge its customers in boating merchandise. It also rents out party-boat behemoths, such as pontoons fit for a dozen people looking to relax in the sun and dip their faces into the marina's waters. And in addition to personal watercraft, or small jets fit for three passengers, there's also the massive, 30-foot party barge, which holds up to 16 people and features two levels of above-water decks, as well as a slide.
