Dance & Arts Connection owner Vicky Clark-Staton doesn’t just want her students to master the proper techniques and steps of ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and the other styles taught at her studio. She strives to motivate her students to unlock a passion for movement, developing their own personal style and cultivating friendships along the way, as she did throughout more than 25 years of dance experience. When they’re not teaching kids to tap or leading patrons of all ages in cardio dance-fitness workouts, the instructors coach competitive dance companies. Their creative choreography and the dancers’ razor-sharp moves strike awe in audiences, judges, and even the most flexible golden figurines atop trophies.
For a team named the Revolution, Texas's Indoor Football League squad has undergone a fitting number of changes. After spending 10 years in the now-defunct af2 league as the Arkansas Twisters, the team migrated to the Lone Star State in 2011, carrying hitchhikers on their backs along the way and becoming the Allen Wranglers. In 2013, the franchise adopted its current name while remaining in Allen, where it continues to draw standout prospects from many of the region's colleges, including the University of Texas, Texas Christian University, and the University of Oklahoma.
At the Championship Bull-Riding Horizon Series, buckaroos wrangle bovid mounts in contests of bravery, endurance, and balance. Anchored by nothing more than a single braided rope, intrepid cowpokes hold tight to their bulls as the animals attempt to dislodge them by rearing, kicking, and slowly listing all their character flaws. The rodeo will take place at the new Allen Event Center, boasting more than 8,100 seats to hold roaring fans. An abundance of free parking nearby cuts down on vehicle-related headaches and saves jetpack fuel for real emergencies. Proceeds from the evening go toward supporting children's charities throughout Texas, including Dallas' own Children's Medical Center.

Other welcome amenities include wall-to-wall screens, digital surround sound and projectors, and a concession stand that serves the theater’s signature $1 hot dogs.
