At Miss Nancy’s, creativity is a means of both expression and communication. It’s also a tool for generating timeless memories, such as a baby’s footprint stamped on a mug—a far more precious memento than a baby’s footprint tattooed on its father’s forehead. Visitors to Miss Nancy’s studio express their creativity in group art classes or by painting pieces of pottery from a selection that includes ornaments, picture frames, serving dishes, and more. No matter the activity, the studio’s staff—a collaborative team of teachers and experienced artists—stands by to offer guidance and ideas.
Glow Yoga's experienced instructors guide yogis through the energizing, flowing movements of Vinyasa yoga. Students of all experience levels can sidle into one of Glow's classes and get to work melting away stress and increasing strength and flexibility, which improves overall health and sidling ability. Pop into the one-hour heated Vinyasa class, which blends breath work with vigorous, creative yoga postures to revitalize and heal the body, or try out the unheated A.M. Flow class, perfectly timed to wake up sleepyheads and not-quite-awake toes. Bend-and-stretchers can improve rapidly with the hands-on adjustments of the Align & Flow class, become more aware of posture with Gentle Yoga's asana focus, or take poses to the next level in the Intermediate Vinyasa session.
At Sportsplex, lines of gleaming strength and conditioning machines stand ready to help exercisers transform their bodies. When clients aren't lifting dumbbells and bars or swimming in a pool that uses the chlorine-free SaltPure system, they can work out with personal trainers or in small-group Group Jamz sessions, or play squash on the on-site courts.
The instructors at Yoga Souls progressively put guests in touch with their individual limits, guiding them through Vinyasa and hot yoga classes that accommodate all experience levels. As they help students hone flexibility, their supportive attitudes encourage personal development.
Sean George, owner of C3 Athletics, discovered muay thai while strolling past a gym in Thailand. After two and half weeks of daily training, the once overweight corporate bond trader had shed 25 pounds and found a new passion. Upon returning home, he established C3 Athletics to re-create the authentic, rigorous training environment he had first fallen in love with. Along with a team of current and ex-fighters, Sean helps molds fighters by introducing them to diverse curriculum of muay thai, jujitsu, mixing, and mixed martial arts training.
