Granata guides up to 24 diner-chefs through the entire cooking process, imparting knowledge about how to properly prepare meat and how to choose the best ingredients according to how they sound in a stethoscope. The course menu varies by theme, such as February's Dining with Your Sweetheart, but a sample first course includes butter-infused shrimp over a stone-ground grit cake, and a sample second course includes a field green salad dressed with roasted pecans, cheese crumbles, and a citrus drizzle. Pork, poultry, or beef-tenderloin entrees comprise the main course, which paves the way for decadent desserts such as a trio of chocolates or ice cream topped by the crown jewels.
