Gage's Steak House executive chef Rob Ferris has crafted a stout menu of gourmet meats, seafood delicacies, and mouthwatering desserts to feed his salivating patrons. Initiate the meat-meeting mayhem with a hearty bread-bowl of sooner steak soup ($5.95), or share an order of southern-seasoned deep-fried tobacco onions ($4.95). For the main course, plump-portion predators can sink their teeth into the Kansas City strip steak, a slow-aged strip loin topped with steak butter ($22.95). For red-meat refrainers, the menu boasts a number of pasta, chicken and seafood entrees, including pecan-crusted chicken breast ($16.95) and a grilled, chili-rubbed salmon filet ($17.95). Desserts include the likes of strawberry romanoff, quartered strawberries crested with brandied cream, whipped cream, and a trio of Russian leg dancers ($3).

For more than 30 years, the family behind The Food Factory has kept the community fed with their specialty sandwiches and homestyle catering meals. At the restaurant, hot subs, loaded baked potatoes, and sandwiches on freshly baked croissants rule the menu. The Food Factory also makes office parties or wedding receptions a tastier affair with catering options like hawaiian hams, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, or barbecue meals served with baked beans and texas toast.

A successful dinner party is not only dependent upon the taste of the food, but also upon an eye-catching presentation, something Running Wild Catering is fully aware of. That’s why, when catering a feast for an event—such as a wedding or a holiday office party—executive chef Teresa Walters and her team line slender skewers of mozzarella and tomatoes on a polished white tray and carve melons into decorative bowls to hold other fruits. They heap crisp veggies on the bed of a wooden, western-style wagon, and cascade mountains of fresh fruit alongside a four-tiered chocolate fountain. Catered meals of slow-roasted pork loin can be served atop fine china and accompanied by linens and silver. Comfort foods such as pot roast or hamburgers can sit in rustic cookware on red-and-white checkered tablecloths. To ensure total transparency for each catered order, the staff is happy to break down pricing, from the cost of condiments to the cost of each grain of salt.

At the vivacious Bolero Tapas Bar & Spanish Grill, the clatter of passing plates competes with the chatter of diners as they enjoy their multicourse meals. Executive Chef Curtis Bramlett and second-in-command Justin Ward constantly enhance the menu with weekly specials, adding to the diversity of flavors already found among the tapas. The small servings are meant to be divided and discussed, much like the drawings that Rembrandt produced on flimsy paper. The golden-fried goat cheese drizzled with tupelo honey earned laurels from the Oklahoma Gazette, which also called the caramel flan “heavenly.” Dark plank flooring supports the warm browns of the restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light and fresh air to imbue the indoor space. At rows of outdoor tables, patrons can sit beneath the starlight to arrange their tapas plates in shapes that mimic constellations.
