At Sesame Place, kids and adults alike meet and play with their favorite furry friends—from classic friends such as Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, and Elmo to newer additions such as Abby Cadabby and Murray. Pose for pictures in a life-size re-creation of the TV show’s classic set, soar above the park in the twirling Cloud Chaser ride, or travel to the outer reaches of the solar system during a children’s-size roller coaster ride on Vapor Trail. After the kids have ridden the rides or seen the giant Christmas tree light and music show, they can sit down to enjoy one of three Sesame Place shows, or take in the Neighborhood Street Party Christmas Parade.
The park's attractions change with the seasons. In the winter, families gather for the A Very Furry Christmas celebration during select dates between November 23 and December 31. As kids and parents roam the twinkle-lit streets of Sesame Place, beloved characters from Sesame Street will interact with visitors. Plus, Santa in his Furry Workshop brings an extra dose of holiday cheer.
During Enable’s day program, five days of structured activities engage individuals with disabilities, allowing them to volunteer in their local community, interact socially with their peers and other adults, and improve their physical and cognitive well-being. Participants volunteer with Meals on Wheels and visit veterans, or learn new skills such as art, pet therapy, and horticulture. The day program empowers people with disabilities to tackle their goals and personal interests while building a recreational community in a structured environment.
Located at Trenton-Robbinsville Airport, Air-Mods Flight Training Center offers a range of aviation services from aircraft rentals and routine maintenance to flight instruction. Their staff of FAA-certified instructors can acquaint first-timers with the skyways but also assist more seasoned pilots who would like to pursue their private pilot’s license.
Sarcasm is the biggest comedy club in South Jersey. We bring in celebrities, top national comedians, local comics. We hold comedy competitions with celebrity judges for cash prizes to give those starting out a chance to get noticed and make money. Sarcasm also raises money for local charlties through fundraisers.
The ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, the Trenton Titans compete against the country's top hockey prospects in the Atlantic Division of the league's Eastern Conference. Founded in 1999, the Titans won the Kelly Cup in 2005 behind captain Rick Kowalsky and leading-scorer Scott Bertoli, capping off an impressive six-year span in which the team missed the playoffs only one time.
