  • Journey to Broadway
For two days, young performers experience what it's like to audition for a Broadway show. They take on the challenging roles of professional actors, singers, and dancers, while training with coaches and auditioning their skills. The structure of these weekends mirrors actual Broadway auditions, but in reality they are Journey to Broadway's signature theater workshops. The mock auditions and training sessions take place in a group environment, which allows students to learn from each other's work. Instructors watch and give each young performer ample hands-on coaching. The faculty includes working professionals such as award-winning choreographer Danielle Brennan, known for her expertise in training young dancers, David Hibbard, whose students have performed on Broadway, and Emily Hsu, a triple threat who has graced the Playbills of a dozen Broadway shows.
