Club K-9 welcomes well-socialized and evaluated dogs into a clean and spacious environment. Dogs can enjoy an overnight stay in social boarding, or large and small canines can cavort in separate areas during daycare under the supervision of a trained professional. After a full day of play, tired-out pups return to their owners. The center also offers group and private training, as well as bathing with all-natural shampoos and conditioners.
Paws 4 Perks lavishes pet parents with a slate of discounts on maintenance and merriment for fuzz-covered companions at multitudes of local animal service providers. Quadruped comrades reap savings at local veterinarians, including $10 off monthly visits to East Hills Animal Clinic in Clackamas, Milwaukie Animal Clinic, and Dogwood Pet Hospital in Gresham. Pets cultivate elegant coats with 10% off grooming services at Bark Ave Grooming in Gladstone, and pet photographers, retail merchants, and dog-walking services offer further markdowns. Discount passes to InBark's climate-controlled indoor dog park in Tigard allow canines to romp comfortably without the need for bulky sweaters or racy dog bikinis. The durable plastic membership card is personalized with your name, and $5 of the proceeds from each purchase go directly to the Oregon Humane Society to help rescue neglected animals.

Kate Dessommes has traveled the world in search of techniques to further her knowledge of yoga. She began with a five-year apprenticeship under Luciana Proaño in Portland before packing her bags for New Zealand to study with instructor and author Donna Farhi and John Friend, founder of Anusara yoga.
At Portland Yoga Studio, Kate and her team of instructors fold those globe-gathered techniques into classes that incorporate Ayurveda, asanas, meditation, and relaxation techniques. They also offer special classes for students who otherwise might not be able to participate, such as those with MS, fibromyalgia, arthritis, or problems balancing. Classes for children and families round out the curriculum, giving parents and their kids a new way to bond that’s more active than watching television and safer than traveling to the future by falling into a coma together.
