The expert team of stylists, aestheticians, and massage therapists at Athena Salon & Spa shares a common goal—to provide a relaxing escape from daily routine. To do this, they draw on a menu of spa and salon services that includes everything from haircuts to fruit-infused facial peels. In private treatment rooms, massage therapists rely on hot stones and deep-tissue techniques to melt soreness caused by stress or back flipping into an empty pool. The spa’s footbaths, at least, are filled with warm water and pulsating jets to soothe sore feet and prepare them for cuticle treatments. For special occasions, the beauty experts can combine services such as waxes and updos into packages for brides, grooms, and their miniature wedding-cake likenesses.
Shannon?s work surface is no larger than a fingernail?literally. The nail technician clips overgrown nails and curbs cuticles as she preps nails for an eye-catching paint job. She covers nails in a variety of hues, and adds 3D art from flowers to hearts to spare keys so her clients will never get locked out again. Shannon works out of The Loft at the Boulevard.
Hair is an essential aspect of beauty—the right cut can frame a face in such a way that highlights its best features or suggests a cool, confident demeanor. The stylists at Essentials Salon appreciate this, which is why they offer contemporary haircuts for men, women, and children, along with Coppola's Keratin Complex Hair Therapy, a specialty treatment that diminishes frizz and curls for more manageable styling.
Styling is only one aspect of Essentials Salon’s menu, however. While facial-waxing treatments eliminate unwanted hair from the chin, lips, and brows, technicians brush nails with a chip-resistant Shellac polish that protects them from teething finger puppets.
Like the world around it, a person's skin changes from season to season. Seasons of Skin’s spa treatments, including massages, facials, and waxing, help treat a variety of recurring ailments, whether they're skin dried out by winter winds or unwanted leg hairs that bud alongside springtime blossoms. The spa tailors its treatments and products to meet any person's epidermal needs. Its own custom product line is designed with the most sensitive skin in mind, aiming to repair damaged complexions while also maintaining a smooth and healthy skin tone.

Serendipity Salon’s staff welcomes clients into a relaxing environment with complimentary tea and snacks. Stylists use sulfate-free Enjoy Professional Hair Care products that are safe for use on color-treated hair, and aestheticians use Caniglia MD Skincare products for facials and body treatments. Deep-tissue and hot-stone massages allow therapists to relax muscles within the confines of a warm, dimly lit private treatment room filled with soft music and the trickling of a nearby fountain. The salon’s team of nail technicians uses OPI and Essie nail polishes and Spa Blends products, which contain shea butter, vitamins, and plant extracts. They also carry hand-poured candles by Archipelago Botanicals, which combine essential oils with waxes and lead-free wicks and come in a variety of earthy colors, scents, and sizes. The largest candle is 4”x10” and burns up to 200 hours, or roughly the length of a Hollywood marriage.
