Curves has teamed up with health and fitness coach Jillian Michaels to develop full-body, 30-minute workouts that kick-start weight loss, combining strength training, cardio, and stretching into sessions that torch fat, build strength, boost intensity, and prevent plateaus. The steady hum of sewing machines emanates throughout Mrs. Taylor’s Sewing School, where students as young as six patch together skills in the craft. Reenie's Passion for Pastries' eponymous cookie aficionado leads hands-on holiday baking tutorials at a beautiful 40-acre ranch. Up to eight students participate in the four-hour classes, each one creating their own different style of dessert-ready treats. Bakers depart with a bounty of at least three-dozen cookies, in varieties such as macadamia chocolate nut, fancy checkerboard, and Reenie's signature peanut-butter-triple-chip cookies. Sugar-cookie confections feature a special decorating lesson on how to craft icing artwork or endorse sheet-cake checks.
