Husband-and-wife team Rosario and Taura Auddino, founded Auddinos Bakery & Cafe in 2012, pouring their love of baked goods and a family tradition of Italian cooking into their treats. In the morning, the scent of crispy artisanal loaves and soft sandwich bread wafts out onto the street. The pastry case contains rows of sweet iced pastries including glazed and cake donuts, muffins, and canollis, while the freezer displays rows of tempting gelato flavors. The bakery also tackles savory meals with breakfast and lunch sandwiches including meatball subs, egg and ham croissants, and roma turkey sandwiches, along with 7-, 10-, and 14-inch pizzas baked onsite with a dozen toppings to choose from, or raw pizza dough available for making your own creation at home.
The family behind Crumbz Cakery always loved baking together. With the creation of Crumbz Cakery, they now share their tasty family recipes with outsiders: gooey fudge brownies, cinnamon crunch muffins, and homemade buttercream frosting, to name a few. They also make specialty cakes, perfect for a family birthday, baby shower, or when you realize the baby can't make his own cakes yet. Cakes come in a range of flavors, from yellow and white to red velvet and german chocolate. All can be topped with signature icings, such as chocolate buttercream or coconut pecan.
Switching from pharmacist to gourmet cupcake baker isn't an obvious career path, but for Sonya Kissi it was a logical one. Inspired by cooking shows on TV, she began baking pastries and sweets at home and discovered she had a knack for it. Soon she founded KissiCakes-n-Sweets, where she and her team bake fresh cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and cheesecakes from scratch each day. Her cupcakes remain the main focus, in flavors such as key lime and raspberry lemonade.

In 1997, friends Dena Tripp and Debra Shwetz set out to create a luscious, melt-in-your-mouth bundt cake. What began as an endeavor in their own home kitchens soon blossomed into a bustling business with bakeries in 21 states. Rich cocoa browns and soft pastels lend a nostalgic feel to each bakery, where every day ovens warm up cake batter made from fresh eggs, real butter, and cream cheese. Flavors such as chocolate chocolate chip, red velvet, and white-chocolate raspberry are favorite staples, and a new seasonal flavor makes a guest appearance each month. Cakes come in several sizes, from the standard 8- or 10-inch bundt to the single-serving bundtlet and the bite-size bundtini, all crowned with signature cream cheese frosting.
With more than 20 frozen-yogurt flavors, upward of 50 toppings, and the freedom to combine them in any combination, the variety of treats that Bad Frog Frozen Yogurt's customers can devise is virtually infinite. Customers grab a cup and head to the treat dispensers for yogurt, all of which carry the live-culture seal. Though the flavors may change frequently, the shop always offers nonfat, low-fat, and no-sugar-added options to let health-minded customers indulge without guilt and to let frat boys save room on rowdy frozen-yogurt crawls. Once flavors are selected, visitors sidle up to the toppings bar to customize their treat with strawberries, Oreos, or morsels of mochi.
