What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I have always believed that people are capable of much more than they ever imagined possible. I have spent my entire life learning fun and effective ways of bringing out the best in myself and others. And I have a deep passion for sharing what I have learned with anyone who will listen.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
It was the realization that people are suffering needlessly in the world. That words can heal, and that I have the ability to make a difference. In the end, it was literally "inspiration" that made me decide to pursue it as a profession.
What do you love most about your job?
I love watching people transform their lives. People who have suffered for years, and they let go of the pain and trauma in a matter of minutes. It is remarkable, and perhaps the most rewarding thing I have ever done.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
You created the space for a tremendous breakthrough for me to experience a new me. Ha ha, makes me laugh how uplifting you are. I wanted to let you know I had life changing moments and I feel so much better. I can honestly say I experienced a re-birth. ?Diana
Certified hypnotherapist Sue Wiebe believes that people often unknowingly slip into a hypnotic state; it can happen while daydreaming, or while deep in thought. At Reawakening from Within, she helps each client to intentionally achieve that state and then makes suggestions to their engaged subconscious mind. Patrons can choose to focus on ridding themselves of issues such as cigarette addiction, a habit of overeating, or an apprehension of flying in airplanes.
After years of training in fields ranging from psychology to chiropractic care, Dr. Laila Marie Noll decided to open Asula Wellness Center in 2006 as a single venue to ply her many trades. Aided by master instructors, she recommends yoga- and Pilates-centric exercise programs for her patients, which are conducted in private, one-on-one, onsite sessions. She also counsels patients on diet and helps them balance their hormone levels, a skill learned from hormone-treatment pioneer Dr. Daniel Kalish. Asula Wellness Center cultivates a soothing, eco-friendly environment with warm, rich earth tones, as well as furniture, fixtures, and robotic receptionists made from recycled and reclaimed materials. The United States government recognizes the building's environmental conscientiousness, granting it a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold certification for its commitment to conservation.
At City Of Roses Hypnosis, Kimball Ralphs CHt, certified by the National Guild of Hypnotherapists and a member of the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association, has the transformative power of suggestion on his side. Once clients feel comfortable, he coaxes them into a relaxing, hypnotic state before intoning a series of positive suggestions during their sessions, throughout which clients retain a sense of control. Ideally, the suggestions burrow into the subconscious mind, where they reinforce clients? personal goals?which could include losing weight, curbing addictive habits, or landing a job as the manager of a boy band.
Portland Natural Medicine's experts in holistic wellness work closely with patients to root out the underlying causes of illness and discomfort, employing time-tested and modern methods with the goal of rebalancing body and mind. A 90-minute treatment begins with a review of intake forms and medical history, establishing a solid foundation for the physical evaluation. At this point the naturopathic doctor examines the body for symptoms of system imbalance, aches, and phantom tail trauma. Based on these findings and an in-depth discussion about lifestyle, clients receive a customized treatment plan that may encompass diet and supplement recommendations, stress management methods, herbal medicine, and homeopathic remedies.
