While earning a PhD in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University, Dr. Kovan began professionally editing résumés and cover letters on the side to help others achieve success. After graduation, she knew this was her true calling. When working with clients today, she brings her more than 18 years of writing and editing experience to each session, assisting her charges in securing new jobs and showing their best selves to prospective employers. She aims to instill greater self-confidence in each person. In addition to her résumé and cover-letter services, Dr. Kovan is the author of an inspirational poetry book, Alphabet Living.
The Memory Photo Gallery photographers have been capturing life's memorable moments for five years. They shoot weddings and events, take portraits of families and children, and they specialize in photos that use natural lighting and a variety of perspectives. They capture images in their own studio or on location, encouraging children to play with favorite toys, individuals to loosen up with various poses, and engaged couples to stroll or somersault happily down a river walk.
Blossoms Flower Shop is hard to miss. Surrounded by unassuming storefronts, the shop’s windows extend into the sidewalk to greet passersby with views of the colorful blooms inside. Many of those blooms, which arc in clusters toward the sunlight, trace their origins to the nearby San Francisco Flower Mart’s local growers. Inside the shop, florists busily arrange orchids, lilies, and exotic flowers into bouquets to celebrate special occasions such as weddings or pet bees’ birthdays.
