Because the health club only admits women at its two locations, gals can feel more comfortable and confident as they break a sweat on elliptical machines and weight-training equipment.

The all-female staff leads a slew of group fitness classes, including CrossFit, Corebar training, Zumba, and yoga classes, some of which take place in the swimming pool and can result in highly desirable dolphin abs. In addition to classes, they offer personal-training sessions along with weight-loss and nutritional counseling tailored to female physiques. Crossfit Giant is not a quiet place. Nor should it be. Here, the walls shake, the floors tremble, and the motivational urgings of instructors reverberate throughout the 5,000-square-foot facility. Here, certified CrossFit instructors lead 60-minute classes that incorporate elements of weightlifting, gymnastics, and track and field; from one moment to the next students might find themselves sprinting, throwing, squatting, and pulling. But they won't be sweating it out alone?they'll be working alongside other like-minded folks who share the same goal: to get in shape, and perhaps squeeze into an old dress or favorite fanny pack.

Classes include general CrossFit training, Olympic weightlifting, and gymnastics. But it's not all sound and stomp here. On the quieter side of the studio, instructors lead students through yoga classes, helping them improve flexibility, balance, and breath awareness. Crossfit Giant's facility also features spacious changing rooms, as well as onsite daycare.
