At Expressions Dance Center we believe that each dancer is unique and will learn at their own pace. Our creative, experienced faculty is dedicated to building self-esteem and confidence, while encouraging our students to achieve their personal best. We offer classes for students age 2 and up!
The music is bumping, the moves are rhythmic, and up to 1,000 calories are burning away. That's just a bit of what Zumba classes are like at ZASS Fitness. In their new studio replete with a new floor, amped-up air conditioner, and extra ceiling fans, certified instructors lead fun, fitness-oriented dance classes. Inspired by Latin dance moves, Zumba enhances cardio, sheds weight, and tones muscles. The instructors also love Zumba because it increases flexibility and encourages self-expression through movement. To augment the festive vibe, the studio hosts parties for kids that include one hour of fitness dancing and another hour for partying.
Co-founded in 1954 by the master of dance himself, Mr. Fred Astaire, we strive to continue the same standards of excellence in dance instruction. The teaching methods and dance curriculum created by Mr. Fred Astaire are still being used today to make our students the most confident and stylish dancers they can be.
Master muscle sculptor Jenny Anania and her experienced instructors strive to fortify muscular infrastructure and shear superfluous curves with Secret Physique's medley of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and weight training. The Secret Physique Barre class's 60-minute sinew sonata features a free-weight prelude that heralds barre and abdominal fitness flourishes, culminating in a crescendo of mat core work, seat exercises, and stretching. Students can also beef up builds and auditions for The Nutcracker Takes Thanksgiving with the Bardio class's aerobic cardio and ballet barre positions, or strut through the sultry steps of Hollywood Dance's burlesque choreography.
DanceFit hosts a wide variety of options for gals of all ages and abilities, from little girls pulling on ballet slippers for the first time to ladies burned out from attending too many repetitive gym workouts. Leading pre-ballet for kids as young as 3, the studio's instructors instill the foundations of coordination, dance vocabulary, and body awareness to set the tone for a series of more advanced classes, including pointe and jazz. Dance-fitness sessions such as the barre-based BalletFit and latin-dance-infused Zumba motivate adults to trim down and tone up, and yoga classes help guests lengthen and strengthen their bodies while relieving stress. The Natick location also offers Hot balletFIT, which is balletFIT conducted in a 90 degree room.
To further alleviate life's worries, the studio offers virtual classes via Skype, helping patrons more conveniently fit a workout into a hectic schedule. These sessions are held throughout the day, and allow patrons to hit their yoga mats in the comforts of their own homes or sculpt rock-hard abs in their office's supply closet.
