Salon Infinity's expertly trained team explores beauty's limitless possibilities with a menu of aesthetically driven services for hair, nails, and skin. The staff keeps abreast of current trends and hones its skills via ongoing training sessions and seminars, and each of its services deploys products from trusted brands including Redken, Pureology, and OPI. Before hair treatments, coiffeurs conduct in-depth consultations with each client to determine a suitable cut or color tailored to flatter individual features and personal styles. In private rooms segregated from the bustling styling stations, nail technicians dole out foot massages, soothing soaks, manicures, and pedicures, which make feet more presentable and less likely to hide inside Thanksgiving turkeys.

The Head Room Salon resembles a spacious artist's loft with tall brick walls, dark hardwood floors, and high vaulted ceilings of shiny pressed tin. Despite the room's mammoth size, the individual styling areas are incredibly cozy, separated by calming robin's-egg-blue partitions. Here, skilled stylists such as Mariah Horne can carve out voluminous layers, or make over stands with a new seasonal color. Specialty straightening treatments are also available to wrangle unruly frizz and fortify hair.

When sisters Jessica Barton and Eslie Greene opened Salon Sovain, they aimed to keep the space true to its historic Chelsea home. Antique furniture, including rustic armoires at styling stations and glitzy chandeliers hanging overhead, unfurl across the space’s dark-wooden floors while windows give a view of a street lined with historic brick buildings. Of course, the sisters had to add a few modern touches. They drenched some of the walls in vibrant pink—which complements the other walls’ exposed brick—and created a white, textured reception desk with flowers. Within the classically styled salon, the duo showcases their talent, excelling at creating fashion-forward looks with chic cuts and color treatments with the aid of Redken, Wella, and Joico products. They arrange strands into elegant updos or unconventional Valentine’s Day gifts and repair years of damage with hydrating conditioning treatments. Jessica doubles as a nail expert too, tempting clients with standard or Shellac manicures topped off with OPI or CND colors.

Working amid Michael Susanne Salon's expanse of warm chocolate tones and soft lighting, Bobbie Carey draws from more than 25 years of high-end salon experience to transform dull locks into stylish hairstyles. The stylist draws from an arsenal of Goldwell hair color and Prive styling products to cut, highlight, and texturize strands, completing the service with a sleek blow-dry. Though the salon primarily cares for hair, the staff does offer both regular and Shellac manicures, as well as facial waxing.
