Shaped Bodies Fitness offers outdoor boot-camp fitness classes. We specialize in full-body workouts at every session. We also take pride in the fact that each workout is unique. In the four years that we've been in business, we have yet to repeat a workout. Nor will we ever. This ensures that you're getting the best workout possible.
Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
We motivate our clients with a simple message. It's your workout—own It. We understand that body types are different. With that said, we use our stop watch and encourage our campers to do as many reps within a specific time frame. As you continue to workout, your endurance level continues to increase. It's a journey and we are here to work with each and everyone one of our campers. We keep it fun, positive, and upbeat. No yelling; just motivation.
What's the most radical physical transformation you've seen a client make?
We have many clients that start our program with doubt. They doubt that they can actually stick with it. They doubt that they can do and complete the workouts. By week two ... those same campers that had doubt are kicking butts and taking names. They're excited and ready. Their attitudes change from "I might" into "I can, I will, and I did." That's their transformation. That's when they truly own it.
When and how did you first develop a passion for fitness?
I've always exercised over the years, while working in corporate America. Four years ago, life dealt me a funny hand. My corporate job transferred to Arizona. There's no way I could relocate, being the true Texan gal that I am. So I took the opportunity to think about what I really wanted to do with the rest of my life. I found I was happier while working out. So I took that passion, got my certification, and Shaped Bodies Fitness became my reality.
