Chi Hair Design's staff spotlights each client's natural beauty with equally natural products. Staff members strive to administer their hair, nail, skin, and cosmetic treatments with beauty-enhancing concoctions—such as plant-based glosses, henna hair colors, and talc-free mineral makeup—that are mostly comprised of organic materials. The team refuses to use products that contain formaldehyde, ammonia, or molten lava.

Soft overhead lighting refracts off the salon's hardwood floors, and massive decorative fans hang as a green-and-white contrast to the taupe walls. To complement the efforts of the beautifying team, resident disc and video jockey Matthew Andrews can showcase his music-mixing skills at weddings and parties.

All five members of Shampoo Salon’s styling team share a passion for hair and makeup, but it’s each member's unique skill set that sets the studio apart. Head stylist Lisa Mackay Naylor-Boulette has more than 30 years of cosmetology experience, during which time she's picked up two People's Pick Awards for Favorite Hairdresser from the Worcester Telegram & Gazette. Salon coordinator Russell Boulette Jr. sets the tone for the entire styling crew, and artistic director Maria Cordella applies a decade's worth of experience specializing in on-camera makeup, bridal hairstyling, and flyaway wrangling. Lilly Proulx boasts expertise in color design and creative approach to every look, and Katie Donovan cossets clients with her nail services.
