After years of treating his own patients, Dr. K. Michael Dossett founded his multi-office practice, overseeing skilled dentists who treat teeth in Dallas, Frisco, Hurst, McKinney, and Plano. Dr. Dossett selected his dentists carefully, taking pains to choose pros who not only exhibited excellent medical technique but who also had exemplary bedside manner. His goal was to assemble a team by forming dental floss into a lasso and corralling free-range dentists whose undivided focus on each patient, and whose level of personal care, matched his own. By prioritizing communication and friendliness, Dr. Dossett has fashioned a quintet of offices where clients are comfortable and their thoughts are heard.
At SmileWorkshop our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of children, youth and adults by offering affordable high-quality dental care in a private-office atmosphere. We take a fun, family-friendly approach to dentistry!
Drs. Robert Limosnero and Sandhya Krishan, who helm A to Z Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, investigate cavities and prevent future enamel ailments with an eye toward easing the anxieties of nervous patients. Sensitive to the fear many feel about visiting the dentist and having their teeth replaced with jellybeans, the dentists and their staff of hygienists and assistants help patients relax with optional medicinal measures that include intravenous sedatives and relaxing nitrous oxide gas. The twosome then get to work with services such as dental checkups, porcelain veneers, and dentures, using tooth-saving machinery, including digital x-rays, dental lasers, and intraoral cameras.
Each person on staff at Brookshire Dental works to maximize comfort, whether by flipping on cable TV for patients undergoing treatments or bringing blankets to drape over chilly legs. Though the team spaces appointments to minimize idle time, waiting patients can catch up on work or plan work meetings around their coworkers' astrological signs with free wireless Internet access. The staff also takes advantage of advances in dental technology, bustling between digital x-ray machines and intraoral cameras.
Dr. Scott Staffel and his friendly staff maintain chomper health through a vast array of dental services. During the examination, mouths participate in a series of impressions, which help to forge custom take-home trays that patients will fill with whitening bleach or pureed light bulbs to help brighten smiles for the next six months. A skilled technician then snaps a series of full mouth x-rays to reveal the hidden goings-on of roots and otherwise undetectable decay. In the absence of periodontal involvement, a hygienist thoroughly scrubs tusks in a flurry of floss and foam, bathing away unsightly plaque and tartar. After intraoral photos, Dr. Staffel begins a thorough examination and delves into mouth caves in search of oral cancers, tooth decay, and recalcitrant gummy worms. Dr. Staffel's Whitening for Life program ensures that his smile-savvy staff continues to replenish stocks of whitening gel each time the patient reschedules.
Thanks to his vast knowledge, 20 years of experience, and access to the latest technology, Ronald Morlock, DDS, is able to make his patients as comfortable as possible. Dr. Morlock has studied under some of the most highly respected dentists in the country and has advanced training in orthodontics, implantology, and endodontics, as well as level-two certification in laser dentistry. To patients who suffer from anxiety, he offers sedation dentistry and equipment such as the ultra-precise Waterlase laser system. The device performs tooth-based and soft-tissue procedures without the heat and vibration associated with drilling, thereby greatly reducing or eliminating pain. Dr. Morlock has also lectured on techniques such as micro-air abrasion, another drill-free method, and plasma-arc curing, which quickly solidifies fillings.
Not only does Dr. Morlock care for his patients; he is also dedicated to helping people in the community at large. He served as an officer in the Public Health Service and guided up-and-coming dental students as a clinical assistant professor at Texas A&M University's Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Morlock has traveled to remote areas of Mexico to offer dental care to those in need, and his office has collected canned goods to support a local food bank.
