Reading at trainer Julianne Giragosian's resume is like thumbing through the world's most extensive workout catalogue. Nearly every exercise style is represented, from kickboxing and kettlebells to Zumba and Pilates. Martial arts get their own section, too; Julianne boasts expert training in MMA disciplines including Brazilian jiu jitsu, muay thai, and goju-ryu karate. Certified by organizations including the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, and KBC Kettlebells, Julianne leveraged her expertise into training gigs across the country, even appearing in nationally broadcast fitness infomercials.
Now at Nago Academy, she leads students down the path to fitness with the help of her training partner Leo Borges. Certified by CrossFit and the American Council on Exercise in his own right, Leo joins Julianne for classes that add strength to core muscles through intense cardio work and targeted suspension training. They also stay active outside the classroom, often finding time to hone their own skills during sparring sessions.
